  • Fantastic Time at the Bungalow!

"We brought our grand children here for the 2nd year in a row. Had a wonderful time. We love eating our meals on the big enclosed porch. Never used the kitchen for eating. Granddaughter caught 89 fish and let the whole lake know when she caught a bass or bull head. We had boats by the dock the next morning. This is a great fishing and swimming spot. Enjoyed a fire at night roasting marshmallows. We love going to Silvercryst for supper. We also like going to Wild Rose for miniature golf and of course the Ice Cream. We love going to the surplus supply store on 21 in Red Granite and found a great place to buy meat, Kountry Pride Farms in Omro - right on 21. We bought cheese at the cheese place on 21 but found it lacked flavor. Like the cheese place in the Dells much better. The cottage is nice and kept up. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I wish we had was WIFI."

  • Excellent stay

"We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend to do some fishing and relax. The yard was so cozy and had great access to the pond. We did some fishing from shore and took the rowboat out to explore the pond/river some and had some great success with bluegills. The kitchen was perfect to clean and fry up our dinner. And the firepit was great to sit around in the evening and watch the storms roll in. Very comfortable and convenient."

  • Beautiful lake/area to retreat from work/home

"Our stay was a week in August with beautiful weather! We enjoyed the secluded house tucked close between two other homes but not visible because of vegetation - even the lakefront was secluded by willow trees...so nice! I have a picture of every sunset for our stay - every night we took a game break at 8pm to watch them. The sun room was much bigger than the picture and the carpet and furniture made it the perfect gathering place. Our 9 month old grandson was safe and happy to crawl around there. We have never had the luxury of a boat lift...but it made short fishing trips easy. August wasn't a month my husband expected to catch fish...but he caught enough to make it worthwhile and the little boys caught fish off the dock! We had a much needed vacation in a wonderful place! Thanks for sharing your home with us."

  • Wonderful relaxing vacation

"We had 4 generations staying under one roof, and it could not have gone better. The house is well suited for all ages. We had enough space when we needed to be separate and enough space when we wanted time together. The amenities kept everyone entertained. The house is very comfortable. Jeff keeps it up and very well stocked with the everyday items you would need or use. The lake is great especially for young children, our one year old got her first taste of being in the water, and loved it. We had a camp fire every night. What a nice get away."
