"We loved our stay at this property. Our group of 9 people was very comfortable (it has four bedrooms, three baths, plus two futons and a sleeper couch). The house was well stocked for cooking, with a large dining table with a view to the lake. There was a large deck with tables, chaise lounges and chairs, also with a view to the beautiful lake and yard.
It's on a quiet, small lake, connected to the many other lakes in Chain O' Lakes. We rented a pontoon boat from Taylor marine a mile and a half away (if you don't have a car, you can easily walk to it, and the ice cream there is great), and went for boating adventures every day, which was great fun.
There is a living room upstairs and a rec room downstairs with pool table, so plenty of room for socializing. I would definitely choose this house again.
Note, the narrow channel that leads from Otter Lake to the other lakes looks small on the map, but it's deep and completely fine to drive the boat through - in fact, it's beautiful, with turtles sunning themselves along the edges. Riding through the channel reminded us of being on a Disney ride. We expected cannon balls or pirates any minute."

"We rented this property for a family reunion, and found it ideal for our large group. The setting is perfect - on beautiful Green Lake, with great swimming and boating right from the dock. We spent many hours visiting on the large screened-in porch which overlooks the lake. The buildings are unique and historic - a rare old family home and charming cottage, both filled with interesting items. While the house does not have all the modern conveniences, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a rustic, memorable, lake vacation."

"Want a relaxing view to wake up to in the morning? Want that true log cabin experience? Then this is your place. I enjoyed relaxing and eating my breakfast on the deck in the morning watching the wildlife. My boys took a canoe ride. We enjoyed indoor and outdoor games that the owner provided. We wanted to enjoy a weekend in Wisconsin dells but away from the hustle and bustle of town. And that's exactly what we did. Only problem we didn't get to stay long enough. I am sad we didn't get to enjoy the big fire pit there just weren't enough hours in the day and I ran out of energy. If you are looking for a 5 star quality bed it's not for you but you will be missing a wonderful experience. The owner was great to work with. We had some short term issues to deal with and for the owners sake please plan ahead, but he accommodated our short term plans and so thankful he did. I would recommend and would love to go back again. Thanks Robert for sharing your cabin with my family.

"We stayed here in early June. We've stayed at several places "up north" and decided to stay a little closer to home this time. We were very happy with the cottage. Everything was neat and clean and the view was wonderful. We caught some nice fish and had a very relaxing vacation. Hope to stay there again next year. Thank you Gerry and Joanne."
