  • Total Relaxation

"We've spent many vacations at Elkhart Lake and by far Point Elkhart is the best spot on the lake. Awesome condo, nicely decorated and a super short walk to the private beach. Kids loved going back and forth for snacks etc. We caught frogs at the pond just over the back patio after dinner and had a bon fire on one of the private beaches. Walking to dinner in town was such a throw back to small town USA even though the ice cream place was seldom open. My husband likes to run and found great paths around the lake. It's a little quiet around the complex which is exactly what we were looking for but if you want the action of the Osthoff I guess you could walk over but you're not going to get the crowds here. We'll be back for sure. Owners were nice."

  • Cottage with a View

"My family has stayed twice during this past year. Home Sweet Home! Clean, quiet and plenty of room to spread out our family. We had a mini family reunion in the Fall and were back in the Spring. We all set our alarm clocks so we could be up to watch the beautiful sunrise over Lake Michigan. In the Fall we were able to golf right in the back yard! The apples were there for the picking and were wonderful. Our walks along the lake will never be forgotten. Nate and Mary are there to make your stay as comfortable as they can. It really has a beautiful clean kitchen and plenty of bathrooms, plus a full size laundry room. The large front lawn was a great place to gather in lawn chairs and just enjoy the view. We will be back."

  • It was like traveling to a scenic getaway - without having jet lag! Thanks for the memories!

"After a long Minnesota Winter, my family and I needed a relaxing retreat and that was what awaited us as we traveled to the Waldwic House Country Estate, nestled outside Oshkosh, Wisconsin. As we approached the beautiful Waldwic House Estate, we felt the stress of our crazy lifestyle leave our body. The home greeted us with a very charming elegance yet offered us all of the comforts of home. As we entered this charming home, we were welcomed by the owners, Linda & Mike and it was as if we were part of their family - what a wonderful feeling. The property was breathtaking and I am looking forward to coming back again this Summer to see the spacious gardens and beautiful pond. The Waldwic House became our home for the next week and it was a wonderful time to just let go of all of life stresses and to achieve a memorable relaxing experience in a place we soon felt as home. Waldwic House as well as our hosts accommodated our many needs as we orchestrated this week long getaway. We had additional family joining us for the second part of our week and Linda helped us in securing a local caterer to design a dinner party at the Estate - It was a huge success. Thank you Linda, we could not have pulled it off without you. The house with it's beautifully spacious Great Room and kitchen provided us with a vast amount of space for family and friends. A great night was had by all. As we traveled to our guest suites, it was as if we had gone to a luxury hotel. My family and I had a wonderful experience and felt as if we were not on a vacation, but relaxed enough to feel right at home. The charming home, and expansive property was just what we needed. We will be back! If ever you feel like you need a get away escape to a georgous property - The Waldwic House Country Estate is your destination retreat! Thanks for the memories - looking foward to coming back soon!"

  • Created fun family memories

"What a beautiful home in such a quiet area and gorgeous setting! Our group (Grandma, 3 adult kids and their families--11 total) had lots of room to spread out with the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, huge dining table, and rec room. Beach access, the sounds/sights of waves and water and walking to the adjacent state park was wonderful. We brought our bikes (also rentals available in Two Rivers or Manitowoc) and there is a bike trailhead accessible at the park which is a very short ride from this house. There were times when Mother Nature didn't want us playing outside but not to worry--this house has everything you need! Pool table, foosball, card tables and lots of comfy chairs to flop into and read or watch a DVD. This house is well maintained and loaded with quality furniture, fixtures and appliances. It is obvious the owners love and maintain this home meticulously. Thank you for sharing this and giving this family the opportunity to create more fun family memories!"
