"My wife and I last traveled to this part of Wisconsin about 10 years ago when we stayed at the American Club for our second time. Although it was a nice trip, it was missing something. That something was Lake Michigan. We quickly became bored after a few hours of shopping and antiquing and decided we would never come back. I must admit, after finding this cottage on VRBO I did not know what to expect. Well, to say the least, we were rather surprised. First off, we loved the long, winding wooded road that leads to it. The trees instantly put your mind at ease. The cottage itself was clean, cozy and comfortable with an awesome view of the lake. I could just sit for hours in that living room reading while listening to those waves come crashing in. The beach is just a few short steps away and what a beach it is! We recently spent some time on the coast of Washington ( the Iron Springs Resort to be exact) and the beach here was every bit as nice. The water is so clear and blue! We honestly loved it and will be returning. The price was reasonable and the owner was very kind and easy to deal with. We will never forget just how perfect our vacation here was."

If you like the beach, this is the perfect place to get away, relax--almost like being at the ocean.
"My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the city and relax, on a private stretch of Lake Michigan beach--and this was the perfect location. We have done several of these vacation-home rentals before, but there have always been things missing that were needed, or out of order, than diminished the experience. Not here--it was perfectly appointed, very comfortable, lots of windows, fantastic views. Mary was especially pleased with the kitchen. You can hear the waves at night. The neighbors, when you seem them, are friendly. We walked many miles along the beach, but I would say our stretch was the best. Very shallow and safe. Our golden retriever loved it--he was in the water easily half the day (me too--although by now it is getting colder, I am sure). Nice wood stove inside, fire pit, and PLENTY of good firewood--which I really appreciated. Three days went by fast and we would have liked to have stayed longer. We made a run for supplies in Sheboygan one morning, about 15 minutes away--Festival Foods is the place to go, which also has a fantastic deli, so we brought back lunch one day. And the sunrises were fantastic--worth getting up for. The house is also well-stocked with games and books, so if forgot your own, there are plenty to choose from. Anyway, this is the place that we have been trying to find for years--I'd highly recommend it, and we will be back for sure. Thanks Todd!"

"My husband and I stayed on this property during the PGA week. This is a beautiful location, in a quiet and secluded area. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals, access to a washer and dryer and chairs for the beach. The views from the master bedroom and living area were million dollar. The deck area had ample chairs for reading, as well as seating for dining outside. The owner was always quick to respond. It was a very relaxing week for us and we would definitely return!"
