"My husband and I stayed on this property during the PGA week. This is a beautiful location, in a quiet and secluded area. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals, access to a washer and dryer and chairs for the beach. The views from the master bedroom and living area were million dollar. The deck area had ample chairs for reading, as well as seating for dining outside. The owner was always quick to respond. It was a very relaxing week for us and we would definitely return!"

"Yes, East Street Retreat of Elkhart Lake feels like our own as we've been coming here for over 10 years. But in reality the owners very much own the place and it's not us. The owners have done amazing improvements with the home over the years we've been vacationing there. It was a gem when we first step foot in it and now with the new kitchen and bathroom and opened up floor design on the main level, it's too good to be true. What's great? - the location to the lake (house has three kayaks for renters use), live entertainment outside your door, big comfortable bedrooms all tastefully decorated, an outdoor shower, a beautiful wrap around porch with a porch swing, and for the bikers - some of the best bike ride opportunities you can find anywhere through the scenic Kettle Morain State Forrest. Both hardcore and leisure bikers will go crazy for these rides. Overall, I hesitated if I wanted to write a review - not sure I want anyone to know about the house as it's too good to be true."

"My husband and I love Sheboygan it's cozy and quaint with a great food scene and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. This was our first stay at Lake Shore House and it won't be our last. The house is a real charmer, well maintained and has everything you could want including a million dollar view of the lake. The lake is the backyard of this house it's incredible. The multilayered deck was fantastic for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. This house is well kept and clean and the owner, Mark, has everything labeled so you are not searching for things. The street the house is on is close to everything and quiet. We brought our 12 year old crippled French Bulldog who enjoyed his stay as well, thank you for allowing pets. The house had two bedrooms upstairs both well appointed and roomy. The biggest bedroom has a balcony and sliding glass doors over looking the lake. The full bath is on the main floor, minor thing that you get used to quickly. The half bath is in the clean, well lit basement along with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is small but has everything you need and who is cooking on vacation anyway? Plus it has a giant window that overlooks the lake. The dining room has sliding glass doors that overlook the lake. Basically the back of the house is glass and has the best view of the lake, sunrises and sunsets. Did I mention the view of the lake? Mark is an artist and his work hangs throughout this lovely home it is a colorful and lively addition to this gem in Sheboygan."
