"Our family rented this lovely cabin for the Labor Day weekend this year. It was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, just a few yards from the water and the grandkids loved the sandy beach! The cabin was very well appointed, very clean and the kitchen had everything you need for the cookouts...and ins. There are great restaurants close by for adults and kid friendly ones as well. We had a great time and Tom even supplied perfect weather! Extremely accommodating guy and so nice to work with."

"Our family of four had a wonderful time at Sweet Emma's. There are bikes, kayaks, canoes, and a row boat available to rent during your stay. The beds and couch were very comfortable. There is a crib for those visiting with infants. Sweet Emma's kitchen has everything you would need to prepare a nice dinner. Location is within minutes of shopping, restaurants, and ice cream. Looking forward to relaxing at Sweet Emma's next year!"

"My bride and I rented this cabin for the week following our wedding. We live in Sheboygan, WI and planned a wedding in the north woods of Wisconsin at a resort. After our time at the resort we wanted to get away from people/crowds for our honeymoon and this place was perfect. The log cabin is an original 1930s cabin but but with all necessary modern amenities. The views from the main bedroom or the porch overlooking Rest Lake are beautiful. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the boathouse porch. We took advantage of the use of the pontoon boat to get to other lakes on this 10 lake chain of lakes. And we took the canoe out to an island for a picnic. My bride and I are also avid bicyclists and this place is perfect for a bicycling fan. There is a new blacktop bike trail that begins at the end of the road and this trail is extensive. We rode it from Manitowish Waters to Boulder Junction and then on to Sayner. Very scenic. I know the trail connects to St. Germain too, but we had reached our max at that point. The towns of Manitowish Waters and Boulder Junction are surprisingly fun. We found some great supper clubs and taverns (Little Bohemia, Blue Bayou, White Oak Grill, the Pea Patch, Aqualand Ale House, Smokeys). Aqualand has a great tap beer list and White Oak was very impressive for fine dining. There were also some great shops in Boulder Junction for keepsakes from the north woods. This place made us so comfortable and we had so many things to do that we actually went the whole week without checking our phones or e-mails. Oh, another thing that surprised me was the sandy bottom of the lake immediately in front of the cabin. Great for swimming. No seaweed. This place was great for us and I could imagine it being great for couples with kids too. The hosts were also great. They live next door to this cabin so they are available for information or help if necessary. But they also had the decency not to interrupt us during our vacation. Great people, great cabin, and great vacation."

"This is my 3rd stay at Hidden Glidden and really enjoy coming back each time! It's the perfect combination of restful and relaxing, literally among the trees, off the beaten track, and close enough to fun activities! We hiked at Whitefish Bay State Park, visited Cave Point, trekked to the Cana Island lighthouse, enjoyed time at Peninsula State Park and Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, and lunch at Al Johnson's. At the cottage, we had leisurely mornings with coffee on the deck, fires in the fireplace in the evenings as we grilled outside, and then sat around the fire pit in the late evenings. Just enough of an opening in the trees to see brilliant constellations and the Milky Way in the night sky! We'll be back again!"
