"We just spent our 6th year in the Loon's Lodge at Lake Rest Cabins. Our yearly visit to Lake Rest Cabins is now a family tradition with our two adult children and their growing families when they can join us. The Loon's Lodge easily accommodates 3 generations under one roof, but is still cozy even when it's just my husband and I. Linda and Ken are the perfect hosts, the cabin is perfect with personal touches, and Little Spider Lake is perfect with not being busy or crowded with too many speed boats zooming around. Retreating to Lake Rest Cabins is the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate. Can't wait for next year! It just wouldn't be summer without our yearly visit to Lake Rest Cabins!"

"I booked this home looking for a long weekend away with extended family. The place was clean and well stocked. All the beds were very comfortable. The bath towel were soft. Loved how big this house was. We had 10 people staying in the house and 8 others came down from Michigan for the day. We still had plenty of room for all of us. The couch was long and accommodated a lot of people comfortably. The snowmobile trails were right outside our door as well as the lake for ice - skating. We had lots of wood to burn for fires in the evenings. I would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon to visit. Thank you Linda and Ken for a wonderful time."

"We really enjoyed our time at the Bass Lake "Garatage". There is nothing like mornings, sunsets, and clear nights in the North Woods. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We used the rowboat for trips around the lake to watch the loons, eagles, and other wildlife, as well as some fishing, and also did a short trip around the lake in the Kayaks. If you like swimming, the water was very warm, the sand was soft, and the raft was close enough for anyone to get to. Fishing was also good, with abundant panfish (a worm on a jig from the dock will land you a sunfish on almost every cast, and there are also bluegill, perch, and crappie), northern pike, and some really nice largemouth bass. The lake, for the most part, was fairly quiet, despite the number of cottages on the lake (two boats and jet skis were the max at one time - but usually the lake had a couple folks fishing and maybe one water-skier or rafter - at least when we were around.) Eagle River was close, as were other fun locations that would accommodate most interests. Would highly recommend it."

"3 couples enjoyed a wonderful 3 night - 4 day stay! The cottage was beautiful, the setting/location was beautiful, the area - Egg Harbor is the best place to stay in Door County. We were able to enjoy the sights, shopping and wineries during the day and come back to the cottage in the evening to relax. It was cool enough to have a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to gather. We played games in the family room on the nice comfy sofas. There were many games to choose from. There were deer in the yard one evening. You can walk to the beach from the property - that is a must. Susie is very organized and gives you all of the information you need to make it a vacation you will not forget. We cannot wait to plan another trip!"
