"We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful cottage over the week of Memorial Day. The cottage was everything it states in the description and more. The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept in and the linens were wonderful too. Although it was a wet week, we caught tons of fish off the dock. They ranged from large mouth bass, small mouth bass, perch, rockbass, blue gills, and northern. They were all substantial in size, and all went right back in the lake as we only do catch and release.
The mosquitoes were horrible in the morning and at dusk, so bring enough repellent. The lot is large and level to the lake and the gazebo provided a nice touch.
I have to say this is one of my favorite cottages I have rented in Northern Wisconsin. It is nicely stocked and it is so nice to have hand soap, toilet paper, kleenex, kitchen paper towels, bathroom linens, and dishwasher detergent included so you don't have to lug all that to the cottage. You will be very pleased with how it is decorated too. I will definitely return next year. Thanks for everything Jennifer, it was a pleasure to speak with you and you made it so easy to book this vacation.
The only recommendation that I have is to have 2 keys available for the cottage."

"This was our 3rd year spending a week at this peaceful getaway! Again....we had a wonderful time! A few highlights included the black bear who travelled through the yard (no more than 50 ft. from the back door). He spent what seemed to be five minutes staring at our black truck, but just enough time for us to watch! Very cool!
The fishing was awesome this year! We were catching good size pan fish right from the dock! We took the row boat out 100+ft. and added a mixture of Great sized perch, bluegill,
sunfish, small mouth bass.....all catch and release! They were biting on night crawler and bobber all day long! Hubby caught a "large" 2+lb. Large mouth bass on worm and bobber in 2 ft. of water on our last day......which again..... makes him the winner of the largest fish!!!!!
The weather was awesome, the mosquitoes were not bad (with spray 😎).
The Hilltop cabin has everything necessary for comfort. If you need anything else....Sally and Zeke (owners) are very helpful, knowledgeable about the surroundings, accommodating and friendly.
Sally and Zeke....THANK YOU for renting to us!!! We had a fantastic time! It gets harder to leave every year!!! Dogs have been sleeping since we left!!! They are exhausted!
Thank you again!

"We came 3 nights for the 4th of July weekend. Plenty to do and see in the area at the time. Made small trips to see falls, ski shows and fireworks. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Outdoors was spacious for outdoor activities such as horseshoes, football, etc...and for relaxing on the swing in front of the huge firepit. The property is located on a bluff so you can literally see the tops of the large trees. The breeze was insansely relaxing by feel, sight, and sound. Spent a lot of my time with my arms spread wide open pointing to the sky, lol. The cottage has a small living and kitchen area. Didn't bother us because we did not come up North to watch TV and did all our cooking outside on the bbq. There is no stove/oven. A two burner stove top and microwave went unused. The bedrooms were adequate in size and had plenty of storage. The cottage is perfect for those who like to camp with amenities. The dock and rowboat got plenty of use for fishing. The current wasn't strong so paddling was easy and there were plenty of pockets of fishing spots off the island across from us. The one drawback to our weekend were the stairs down the bluff to the dock. It was well-built and had landings to rest on and take in the views, but they are not for everyone, I'm 55 and consider myself in good shape, but I wouldn't do that staircase more than 3 times a day. I recommend taking everything you need the first trip down. 😁 Overall, we had a great family-bonding time. I recommend this property for anyone looking for peace, quiet, seclusion, and relaxation."

"My wife and I spent a week at this wonderful cottage in July.
It has all the comforts of home.
Even air conditioning for those hot days.
Very quiet and serine.
The water in the lake was crystal clear.
I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away."
