  • Wonderful relaxing stay in beautiful cottage and idyllic surroundings

"Stayed to nights as a party of 5 adults, although a cottage it had more than enough room for us and everyone had a comfortable bed. Carol was extremely helpful, hospitable and just very a nice lady. The cottage and the surroundings were more than we could have hoped for and the only wish we had was that we could have stayed longer. We grilled both nights and sat outside around the fire. The cottage is just a few miles from the gorgeous beaches of ephraim. All in all everything was perfect and couldn't have hoped for more. Thank you Carol!"

  • Weekend Getaway From Chicago

"Some friends and I decided to get out of Chicago and head to Door County for a long weekend. We came across The Cedar Beach Inn and I'm so glad we did! The Cedar Beach Inn sits directly on Lake Michigan and has amazing views of the lake. It was snowing for part of the time, so we spent our time savoring meals (and wine) in the fully-stocked main kitchen, chatting, and enjoying the views of the amazing lake and snowfall from the heated sun room in back. The Cedar Beach Inn has tons of knick-knacks and antiques from around the world that are very cool to play with and read about. I really felt at home and comfortable during the entire stay. Oh yeah, they even have an impressive DVD collection. Since the Inn is right off the main road ("Main" road, it's still quiet), we walked up to the road to a local bar where we had some tasty Wisconsin beers and got to chat with the locals. We even met the town President and got some great tips on nearby lookout points and cross-country skiing trails to check out! One afternoon we took a drive up the peninsula to discover the neighboring towns and stumbled across a bakery with the most amazing cherry pie made with cherries from the local orchards. Another night we went up to The Coyote Roadhouse for dinner and enjoyed watching all the locals pull up in their snow mobiles. We will definitely be renting some snowmobiles when we return this winter! The Cedar Beach Inn is stocked with everything you need to comfortably enjoy your stay. We enjoyed our stay so much we already have plans to return, this time with more friends! I've been to Door County a few times in the winter and really can't get enough!"

  • Great Place

"Carraig Beag was a delightful place to stay. It is a modern, clean and charming home that was very comfortable for our family of 6. Although it is not located on the main drag, we were surprised how walkable it was to everything we normally do and see in Baileys Harbor. A great rental for families, singles, anyone."

  • A hidden gem!

"This cabin truly is one of Door County's hidden gems! There really is no need to leave the property since there is so much to do right outside the door on Kangaroo Lake- swimming, canoeing, biking, cooking out, etc. It is nice that the cabin is centrally located-it was quick and easy to tour the peninsula all week! My family and I have stayed at this cabin three times in total (twice in the fall-gorgeous leaves-and once in the summer). Each time we visit, we are never disappointed! The cabin has ample space for lodging our family of 6. We love to relax and spend time in the spacious screened in patio and gazebo (keeps all the mosquitoes out)! A few of us even enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of nature on the screened in balcony! The land and lake views here can't be beat! We loved canoeing around Kangaroo Lake with the canoe provided by the owners! In the evening, it was nice to relax around the fire and gaze at the stars from the dock. Everything you need is provided at this cabin. From sheets and towels to cooking equipment, we loved not having to worry about bringing supplies. The Brewers fans in our group enjoyed the flat screen TV and DirectTV package-they didn't have to miss a game all week! One of the best parts of staying here is the pet friendly aspect. We were able to bring our dogs and not have to worry about leaving them behind on vacation! The owners of the cabin communicate well and provide all the necessities needed for a nice vacation! The cabin has a binder full of information one might find beneficial during a stay. I can't say enough great things about this family and I will surely continue to rent this property in the future!"
