"My family and I stayed in the Baileys House last summer for a week, we are a large family and felt at home immediately when we arrived. We enjoyed the cool breeze from the Lake as we sat on the deck in the evening. I love the open concept of the kitchen, and appreciated the convenience of all the kitchen supplies that were available. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The restaurants that are walking distance were fantastic and people are friendly. I also enjoyed being able to purchase farm fresh fruit and vegetables at the farmers market down the street. Being able to walk to the Lake with my family was a plus as well as the walking trail through the woods. In the evening we had a campfire in the pit the owners have in the back yard. We all slept great and enjoyed the comfortable beds (very important for a happy vacation). The house was very clean and I will be back again!"

Historic Cozy Cottage on a Quiet Bay: Perfect for Families
"What a perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! This cottage is full of history! We stayed here with our 3 children (15, 12, and 8) and had a lovely time! The cottage is remarkably clean and comfortable. We fell in love immediately when we opened the door. Our children enjoyed learning about the history of the North Bay Fish Company. The owners have books in the home that tell the story of the Fish Company along with many historic documents and photographs. It was so interesting! In the evenings we made memories and laughed as we played games and watched the stars! The campfire pit was perfect for telling stories....we may have made up some stories of lost fishermen at sea! Our favorite part of the cottage was the canoe. We canoed around North Bay and enjoyed the solitude of being with nature. We spotted birds nests, deer, fish, birds, frogs, crayfish and more. So peaceful and relaxing on North Bay yet only 4 miles to Wilson's! This cottage is in the perfect location! Special thanks to the Steffen Family for sharing their special piece of paradise with us! We loved every moment of our vacation! (Especially the fresh cut wildflowers!)"

"We scheduled a short spring get-away to Door County and luckily stumbled upon Shalom Stone. The cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. It's situated on a nice quiet lot and I loved having the perfect view of the lake. I was a little concerned about the air mattress set up, but it was super easy to use and very comfortable. This is a great value for the area. We will definitely book Shalom Stone again!"

"We stayed here for several nights over NYE weekend this year and had a blast. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of outdoor space for the dog to run around, tons of bedrooms, and close to Peninsula State Park.
This place was wonderful. We'll definitely be back"
