  • Fantastic Rental for Friend Reunion Weekend

"I was so excited to find the Kinney Farm property for a reunion weekend with friends and it turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. The space was perfectly comfortable for a larger group with 5 bedrooms (with very cozy beds), 4 bathrooms, 2 sitting areas, a large kitchen with a dining area and a fabulous screen porch. We enjoyed cooking many meals in the large kitchen, making fancy cocktails in the lovely vintage glassware and exploring the property. It was so nice to have privacy on the property and to be able to play night games in the large lawn area surrounding the house. Our border collie, Cal, also had a blast! The property was also conveniently close to both Egg Harbor and Fish Creek, as well as Peninsula State Park. If you're looking for a comfortable large rental with a vintage feel, I highly recommend Kinney Farm!"

  • Loved this cabin, it was perfect for a small family

"This cabin exceeded our expectations in just about every way. We stayed here for 4 nights (myself, husband, 11yr old son and small dog) and I was very impressed how well it was decorated and put together. Although it is small, there was more than enough storage for all of our stuff, the kitchenette had well stocked and they had lots of little extras I was not expecting. My only comments I would make for future travelers is that the ladder to the upper loft (2 twins on the floor up there) was straight up and very challenging to climb up and down. Once my son went up for the night, he was there until morning, but he loved it and dubbed it his "Man Cave". Also, the free wifi was not good and I couldn't even get regular cell service on my iphone through ATT, so we couldn't communicate with our family staying in Fish Creek until we drove out of Ephraim. We couldn't even check email with the free wifi, but this was honestly more of a nuisance than anything else. We dealt with it just fine - it was vacation after all! We used the grill one night (they had matches and charcoal!) and loved the little table and chairs outside for our morning coffee. There is no A/C, but door county is generally cool at night and they had 3 fans in the unit. We brought our own bedding, towels and toiletries, which was no big deal. Our dog loved running around in the big yard and overall this was a hit with our family. We would go back for sure. Thank you!"

  • Great Family Vacation Spot

"This was our first time at this beautiful property in Fish Creek although we have been vacationing as a family there for about seven years. Our family is multi-generational and there was plenty of activity (biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, hanging out at the beach) for everyone. One very big plus is the close proximity to Peninsula State Park--a five minute bike ride, ten minute walk. The house itself is lovely and maintained very well. All beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, the gas grill was excellent--all things that contribute to easy vacation living. The owners were warm and communicative when we had questions. All in all a great vacation property!"

  • Wonderfully Secluded with Close Access to Door County!

"Our family - my partner & two sons (ages 7 & 11) and my parents - spent almost a week at Moonlight Magic, and could have easily stayed longer. This is a gorgeous, quiet place - within simple drives of all the fun that Door County offers! We drove to some sandy beaches, explored light houses, took a ferry ride to Washington Island, etc - and came home every evening to a quiet, peaceful location right on the lake. We saw multiple geese; had many campfires; played board games... Tammy and her family are SO responsive to guest needs! We feel very fortunate to have found Moonlight Magic, and have already visited with friends about the possibility of returning next year! Thanks, Tammy! You have a beautiful property!"
