  • Beautiful Cabin!!

"I have been going to Door County all of my life and this is by far the BEST place to stay!!!! The property is absolutely beautiful!!! The house is very spacious, with a warm cabin feel. Every evening we had a campfire next to the water and watched the sun rise over Lake Michigan. The location is very close to Egg Harbor, Sister Bay and Fish Creek. This house feels like home and we can’t wait to go back!"

  • Gorgeous home and location

"This beautiful home was as advertised. I never got tired of the gorgeous views of the bay. This home is well equipped with about any kitchen gadget you may need. We had five separate families/couples and never felt cramped. I would recommend sleep masks for anyone who would like to sleep in, since there are no blinds. Deb was great to work with!"

  • We Loved the Applewood Cottage

"My husband and I stayed at the Applewood Cottage for three nights 8/2014. As a professional event planner, we are very picky and used to 5-Star accommodations. We couldn't have been happier with this cottage. The location is perfect, blocks from Hwy 42 in between Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Bailey's Harbor. All this while still feeling remote. The grounds are georgous, surrounded by the main farmhouse, the apple & cherry orchards, and plenty of walking trails. Most notably, the cottage is immaculate inside. We were amazed at how perfectly clean everything was. From the complete set of appliances, dishes and pots & pans to the bathroom. Not one cobweb or hint of any musty smell, as one gets used to with cottages. The best part was that we got to stay here with our dog. One might worry that a cottage that allows dogs would have pet damage, hair or smells. This cottage had no evidence of previous dog presence, other than the lovely cabinet, designed to hold dog bowls, toys treats and blankets. What a nice touch. (I bet their Dyson vacuum helps with this!) Some highlights included: The extra comfy bed, the abundant spare bedding, 2 blow up twin mattresses, fluffy new bath & beach towels, portable beach chairs, a fancy Weber grill, an outdoor fire pit, wireless internet, and the flat screen with direct TV so that my husband could watch Premier League Soccer Saturday morning! Sharon was a wonderful host and called me the day prior to our visit. She asked me to text her upon our arrival so that she could make sure everything was to our liking. My only fear in writing this review is that too many people jam up the avaiilability calendar, as my husband and I plan to go back later this Autumn."

  • Great House

"Enjoyed our stay at this great house with plenty of space for relaxing either in a huge screen porch or on the upper deck with a view of the water. Great bike rides in the area, close to the ferry to Washington Island, two State Parks and plenty of shopping and restaurants. Lots of room for family gatherings."
