"This condo was the perfect place to bring my wife and I, and our two sons and their families together for a week. The condo was outfitted with everything from books to games, electronics to a well-equipped kitchen. It was relaxing and inviting -a perfect retreat after a full day "out and about" in Door County. Our grandchildren also loved the pools and clubhouse area. I would highly recommend it!"

"I stayed here with my husband and granddaughter. We had a wonderful time. The house was so perfect. We loved the way it was decorated. I enjoyed seeing the water from different windows in the home. We sat out and watch the sunset a couple of the nights while we were there. We walked a short distance to get ice cream from Wilson's. Our granddaughter loved the caramel collision ice cream. The resort next store was a great place to grab a meal. They opened early for breakfast too. We did pick up some groceries at the Piggly Wiggly in Sister Bay. The kitchen was well furnished and allowed us to prepare some meals in. We love the parks. Also be sure to visit some of the places where they make pottery. Off The Wheel is our favorite. We plan to go back. We have stayed in a couple of other places in Door County but this was the best."

"This was our first visit to Cozy Cabin in the Woods, and hopefully not the last. We visit Door County every Fall and this is the best place we have ever stayed. The cabin is perfectly located to take advantage of everything that Door County has to offer plus it is in a nice quiet location, so you can join the bustle of the towns or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. We enjoyed watching the chickadees coming to the feeder and the deer to the salt lick. This cabin has such a well equipped kitchen that we could have made every meal there. Thank you Kurt and Shelley, for the welcoming chips and cherry salsa and for making this wonderful cabin available. It helped to make this trip one of the best we've had."

"Me and my family; my wife, 11 year-old daughter and 7 month year-old daughter, all traveled to Wisconsin from Southern Illinois to be on the beach on the waters of Lake Michigan for a week during the middle of July. It was 95 at home with a heat index of 105 and the high for the entire week in Jacksonport was 73. Loved it!
This cottage was great for our needs. It was right on the beach (30 yards) with a beautiful view of the water from the kitchen and living area. Made it easy to let our daughter play on the beach without constant supervision. Loved burning fires almost every night. The wood and rock pit (also on the beach) were included in our stay. Needed it, since a couple nights the low was 55...in July!
Close to everything. Our longest drive was 30 minutes. We were 15 from Egg Harbor, 30 from Sturgeon Bay, 10 from Bailey's Harbor, etc.
The highlights of our stay were: The Renard's Cheese factory and tour, our fishing charter with Hooked-Up Charters (we caught TONS of fish and left Wisconsin with over 100 lbs in Salmon fillets), and the Dairy View Country store (also 15 min. away).
The price is reasonable, the beach is great (albeit fairly cold water even in July. Don't worry, the west side of the peninsula, towards Green Bay, was 10 or so degrees warmer on average and only 15 min. away at Egg Harbor), the fires were awesome, and the inside was nice. Looked at the Michigan side of the lake, but prices were higher and sights were further away. Also, we really wanted to do the fishing charter and couldn't be happier with that choice!"
