"Hidden Glidden Cottage is well equipped and spacious (inside and out) and well positioned for a holiday on Door County peninsular. The decor won't be to everyone's taste but that was not really an issue. We had a lovely week here in September. The weather was beautiful - sunshine and blue skies on most days. The cottage is surrounded by trees so might be a bit dark on non-sunny days. It has two large bedrooms and a spacious living/dining area. Only thing I missed in the kitchen was a kettle - had to use a saucepan to boil water for tea. The beach is reasonably close and is lovely and the water is clear. Glidden Drive road is very windy and not well lit in the night, so we tended to have a more extensive lunch and have snacks at the cottage in the evening. Really liked exploring the small towns along the coastline - especially Fish Creek."

"I recently spent a few days at Beach House with another grandmother and our 2 young grandchildren. The kids immediately climbed the ladder to the loft and claimed this space as their private play area. We enjoyed splashing in the waves, building sand castles on the beach and enjoying local attractions like The Farm.
The Beach House is simple, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the cottage invites us to relax. It is right on the lake so very convenient for young children. We will definitely return!"

"We ALL loved the Kinney Farm! We had 10 adults and 2 children and had ample space, more space than we needed! We have rented homes/cabins as a big group in many states throughout the years and this by far was ruled our all time favorite home! The large screened in porch was such a hit, my husband is going to build one about the same size off our northern WI cabin! Beautiful nights spent around the fire pit~wood supplied! Fully stocked kitchen made making large meals for the group simple. Comfortable beds in all 5 rooms and with 4 bathrooms there was never a line! The privacy of the place was super as we all grew up in rural areas, not having neighbors was terrific as sometimes my family can get a little loud and stay up late! We didn't care much for the access to the lake down the road but that was only a minor disappointment that there wasn't a beach (still a pretty view of the lake) and Peninsula State Park was such a short distance and has a great sandy beach and many hiking trails, so all was good. We have only good things to say about this property except that we wished we could have stayed a lot longer!!! We hope to come back soon! LOVE LOVE LOVE the KINNEY FARM!"
