It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This!
"I've joined my extended family for summer vacation at the Zaugg's Resort for 3 years running, and I have to say, it doesn't get any better! Every year, we consistently have unforgettable quality time as a family. The lodging and setting are absolutely superb, always facilitating magical moments during our stays. The lodge comfortably and conveniently accommodates our large family of 20+ adults and children and the variety of activities (tennis, swimming, fishing, volleyball, skiing to name a few) keep us engaged, entertained and...competitive. The surroundings help us all to "digitally disconnect" from our devices and work demands, and to focus collectively and individually on re-charging our batteries.
A few of my favorite things at Zaugg's Resort include star-gazing (WOW, the stars are spectacular!), going to sleep or waking to the sound of Loons on the lake, and our lively family dinners each night around the dining room tables. This place is a winner!"

"My wife, daughter and I stayed here recently for the 7th time and loved it as much as ever. Greg and Michelle do a great job making their home on Chain Lake a nice, comfortable place to stay, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The house itself is up to date and nicely furnished and decorated. It's also in a great location - about 10 minutes from St. Germain or Eagle River - close to places to run, hike, bike, kayak, eat and shop. I like to fish, and while Chain Lake isn't the greatest fishing lake you can catch crappie and smaller pike there, and Sand and Dam lakes on the same chain are great places to find walleye, pike, and muskie. We took my wife's mother along with us this year and while we were worried about the number of stairs down to the dock, it turned out to be no problem. Would highly recommend the Gard's Grandview Getaway to families with younger or older kids, and couples looking for an active vacation or just some time relaxing."

"Thank you again for another amazing trip! It was our third year at Maxson's Point for a family reunion trip. It has become a tradition we all look forward to and draws family in from the West coast. We have created many memories and the family looks forward to many more to come! The littlest one turned 4 this year and learned to swim to and jump off the raft! My nephew caught his first northern and my 73 year old dad caught the largest bass of his life! We didn't think the place could get any better but the owner added a larger fryer which made the fish fry from all of the fish we caught a breeze! Water skiing, swimming, sailing, kayaking, fishing, volleyball, sandcastles, campfires, stars, the list goes on and on! Thanks again!"

"It was all we three 60+ gals wanted and then some! The house was beautiful and spacious, well equipped, and we loved having kayaks right there, ready to jump into - that was the highlight. Although we usually go someplace different each year, I would LOVE to come back. We were enchanted, and one of the other ladies developed a sudden love for the Northwoods and plans to come back with another friend. We enjoyed two lovely dinners out - Chanticleer Inn and the Riverstone Restaurant, as well as the interesting shops in Eagle River. The other gals went horseback riding, we all took some walks, and enjoyed seeing deer almost every time we drove to town. Played miniature golf, went to the Wildlife zoo in Minocqua and loved the aviary with 500 budgies eager to land on you. Enjoyed a nap in the hammock. All in all, it was a wonderful week, but the house and kayaks made it special. Five stars in my book, and ditto from the other two gals."
