Perfect Northwoods Setting!
"Just returned from a week at this lake-front property on Carpenter Lake in Eagle River, and can't say enough positive things. First, Carpenter Lake is beautiful... it features crystal clear water, good fishing and bald eagles in residence; not a lot of motor boat traffic, so it's really peaceful! The cabin itself is a great space with an authentic northwoods cabin feel. A big bonus for us was that renters have their own dock, as well as access to a row boat, canoe, kayaks and paddle boards. By far the best feature of this cabin is it's setting -- a beautiful, level lot under a canopy of trees with a perfect view of the lake."

"Got together with 10 college friends for a winter weekend. Cranberry Castle provided us with a great space for a reunion. Large common areas provides space to play pool, air hockey and ping pong while enjoying the two large fireplaces. The dinning room table comfortably held 10 and the three ovens made it easy to cook for a group. The 10 seat home theater provided the perfect way to end a long day in front of a movie. Eagle River is nearby, as are cross country ski and snowmobile trails."

"Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our stay at your place. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is not the most fanciest place, but I would rather stay somewhere and feel relaxed as opposed to being nervous about damaging a beautiful piece of furniture. When you are up north, hopefully you are spending most of your time outside. We really appreciate the fact that you let us bring our dogs; they are part of the family. The weather was pretty good and we were especially pleased to find out that you have a service for pest control come in and spray. We had absolutely no mosquitoes, which was something we were very concerned about.
Your place offers great swimming. There were absolutely no weeds. And we all had a great time around the firepit. The new kitchen is beautiful. You surely have enough pots and pans. We were all very comfortable for sleeping and it was great to have so many beds.
Thanks for a great week!

"Arrived early on Saturday with two other couples. The cabin was very well cleaned and in order as promised. Plenty of split firewood for the fireplace was ready to go. Three large bedrooms great open concept cabin with two baths. Cabin looks over lake and connects to some fabulous wooded area which provided for excellent snowshoeing. A sort trip down the road leads to great hiking and cross country trails. There is a warming house along the trail with a nice fire burning inside and an opportunity to feed black cap chickadees out of your hand. The owners of the resort Pam and Chuck were very pleasant , accommodating and helpful with information about where to go. We will definitely be back next year!"
