Great Vacation Home!
"This was our second year back to this home. PERFECT for two families enjoying the week! Tons of bedrooms and lots of space. Screen deck is great for relaxing or playing games with the kids. Inside there is a very generous sized dining room table to gather for large family meals or play puzzles, and the downstairs is another great area to watch tv, play games and more. The home is very well appointed from the kitchen that has everything to personal touches from the owners. These include fresh flowers on arrival and gifts to renters based on the owner's special interests. The owners are very accommodating in any way they can and the home's caregiver who lives near by is equally as helpful. I can see renting this home for many years to come!"

"Serene Shores is a wonderful Northwoods retreat. We loved it! The location was optimal for us. We also loved the seclusion--plenty of privacy and the lot is very nice. We especially loved the fire pit and the dock, and the fact that we were able to bring our beloved dog with us.
The cottage itself is very comfortable and homey! We felt at home immediately. Serene Shores proved to be the perfect "home base" for our Northwoods excursion.
Another plus to staying at Serene Shores is the friendliness, professionalism and customer service orientation of the property manager, who is a pleasure to work with and very responsive to questions and inquiries.
Our stay was a very positive experience and we plan on staying there again."

"We all found this place to be very comfortable, very spacious, and retreat-like for our multigenerational family "Christmas in July" celebration. Raspberries and blueberries were available. Trout and bass were caught and eaten too. T-ball, badmington, frisbee throwing, and outdoor grilling when not in or on the water. Games were played at night and some even ventured out for a late night walk in the woods. Birds and foul, four footed animals, and waterfalls for viewing pleasures. The space suited us since there were 11 adults, 3 teens, 1 toddler, and an infant. The kitchen and dining rooms were a gathering space for a few of the special meals, with room for all (cooks and recipients). the pantry, refrigerator, and counter space were welcome accomodations. Even the mayfly hatch was considered fun -all of the windows were covered! "Newbies" to the area went to view the Paulding light. Some of us enjoyed the geocaching in the area, one of which included a challenging rigorous hike. Thanks for opening this home to us.
Great time in a wonderful place."

"This property was a perfect fit for our group of college friends reuniting 10 years later. The highlight for us was the large table that seated 8 people (we spent the majority of our time around that table and in the kitchen). Thank you for a great experience!"
