"Exceptional home for a family get away. We had young kids as well as older adults. Everyone loved it. The home itself is lovely with lots of amenities. Home has tons of room to just hang out. Very comfortable. Great views. Big patio and field and nice beach to play at with the kids or just hang out. Awesome location for boating. Owner was pleasant and responsive. This home is hard to beat. We will certainly return."

"My wife, daughter and I stayed here recently for the 7th time and loved it as much as ever. Greg and Michelle do a great job making their home on Chain Lake a nice, comfortable place to stay, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The house itself is up to date and nicely furnished and decorated. It's also in a great location - about 10 minutes from St. Germain or Eagle River - close to places to run, hike, bike, kayak, eat and shop. I like to fish, and while Chain Lake isn't the greatest fishing lake you can catch crappie and smaller pike there, and Sand and Dam lakes on the same chain are great places to find walleye, pike, and muskie. We took my wife's mother along with us this year and while we were worried about the number of stairs down to the dock, it turned out to be no problem. Would highly recommend the Gard's Grandview Getaway to families with younger or older kids, and couples looking for an active vacation or just some time relaxing."

"Our fourth visit. Just the two of us this time with Sleezer, our sleeping bulldog. Loved the stay.
We took the canoe around the bay and captured incredible fall foliage photos.
Place was sparkling clean as always.
Two complaints: First, you are ALWAYS booked----Summer 2015 appears nearly gone. Is this correct? If so, October again please. Also, what happened to Victors Mexican restaurant...we loved that place. Thanks again, Laurie and I had such a good time."

"This was our first year at Zaugg's and we found it to be a great spot for our family vacation. With 11 adults and 9 kids we had to Chalet's which worked great and had plenty of room even with all of us eating and hanging out in one. The deck had two tables and plenty of chairs. There was also a picnic table and fire pit. No doubt the best part was the beach!! It was sandy and had everything you would want--great lounge chairs, kayaks and paddle boards. The beach was secluded and peaceful yet close to the chalets. Owners were available if you needed anything but also let you just enjoy your vacation. I would highly recommend!!"
