Amazing stay - Incredible fall colors - Clean !!
"Our fourth visit. Just the two of us this time with Sleezer, our sleeping bulldog. Loved the stay.
We took the canoe around the bay and captured incredible fall foliage photos.
Place was sparkling clean as always.
Two complaints: First, you are ALWAYS booked----Summer 2015 appears nearly gone. Is this correct? If so, October again please. Also, what happened to Victors Mexican restaurant...we loved that place. Thanks again, Laurie and I had such a good time."

1ST CLASS ACCOMMODATIONS! LOOK NO MORE!!! WARNING!! - YOU WON'T WANT TO LEAVE! :)
"Amazing EVERYTHING! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and so would our 12 guests. The paved, winding road to the Castle is beautiful and full of wildlife. Great area to take a walk. Circle driveway and empty garage was perfect for our motorcycles. The fire pit at the beach, the beachfront, the sand, the floating swim platform, the outdoor grill, the outdoor fireplace and gathering area, the dock sitting area - all PERFECT for entertaining and/or just "chillaxing" by yourself. We never felt like we were on top of each other - if you wanted a quiet space to read, or catch up on your emails - you could always find one. The theater room was great for late night viewings and made you feel like you were all at the movies together. Fun!! The surround sound throughout the home (each room has their own volume control) was perfect to plug your phone into and share your play lists. The main dining table is to die for~!! Each breakfast and dinner was a feast and full of laughter and memories to last our lifetime. No detail is spared in this log home. You will feel like you walked into an Up North Paradise and love every minute you are there. The view!!! Wow! Totally worth the money spent!! If we could change anything it would be that we needed to have more time to spend there....almost felt guilty heading out to enjoy our motorcycle rides!! And that NEVER happens. Last but not least - the Landlord has exceptional customer service skills and will take extremely good care of you and everything you need!! He is only an email away and very quick to respond to any of our questions. GREAT PLACE - GREAT TIMES!!! The whole group can't wait to come back. Thank You!!"

"This beautiful lake property was our home for almost two weeks. One member of our family was recovering from surgery and he said he couldn't imagine a better place to be. Beautiful views from the wrap-around deck, sipping coffee or wine by the waterfall, sitting around the fire pit in the evening, and no noise other than the calls of the loons (or it could have been the swans!!) made for a relaxing recovery. The "kids," who were all in their late teens and early twenties, fished, hiked, rented ATVs, played miniature golf, badminton, frisbee, and spike ball. Tom is an excellent host and is very responsive. We would have stayed longer if it we didn't have to get the kids back to college. This was a different vacation for us, because we have always gone to a beach. I am not the outdoor type, but I was won over by this very beautiful, comfortable house."

"It was all we three 60+ gals wanted and then some! The house was beautiful and spacious, well equipped, and we loved having kayaks right there, ready to jump into - that was the highlight. Although we usually go someplace different each year, I would LOVE to come back. We were enchanted, and one of the other ladies developed a sudden love for the Northwoods and plans to come back with another friend. We enjoyed two lovely dinners out - Chanticleer Inn and the Riverstone Restaurant, as well as the interesting shops in Eagle River. The other gals went horseback riding, we all took some walks, and enjoyed seeing deer almost every time we drove to town. Played miniature golf, went to the Wildlife zoo in Minocqua and loved the aviary with 500 budgies eager to land on you. Enjoyed a nap in the hammock. All in all, it was a wonderful week, but the house and kayaks made it special. Five stars in my book, and ditto from the other two gals."
