  • A great place to stay.

"Stayed a week at the cabin with my wife and daughter. Had a great time. Nice cabin, very clean and had everything you need. Saw lots of deer. Even had a doe with her two fawns at the property. Steve and Susan are very nice and extremely helpful with places to see and fishing tips."

  • Outstanding getaway Cabin!

"This was our 5th stay at the Cabin, 3 winter stays, 2 in the fall. We love it. The cabin is always exceptionally clean, very roomy, great fireplaces, close to Eagle River - just a great place for family and friends to gather and enjoy a great mix of wonderful accommodation and great outdoors. I hesitate to complete a review because we want to keep this place to ourselves. (Although we can't do that as we don't own it- darn it!)"

  • Christmas in July

"We all found this place to be very comfortable, very spacious, and retreat-like for our multigenerational family "Christmas in July" celebration. Raspberries and blueberries were available. Trout and bass were caught and eaten too. T-ball, badmington, frisbee throwing, and outdoor grilling when not in or on the water. Games were played at night and some even ventured out for a late night walk in the woods. Birds and foul, four footed animals, and waterfalls for viewing pleasures. The space suited us since there were 11 adults, 3 teens, 1 toddler, and an infant. The kitchen and dining rooms were a gathering space for a few of the special meals, with room for all (cooks and recipients). the pantry, refrigerator, and counter space were welcome accomodations. Even the mayfly hatch was considered fun -all of the windows were covered! "Newbies" to the area went to view the Paulding light. Some of us enjoyed the geocaching in the area, one of which included a challenging rigorous hike. Thanks for opening this home to us. Great time in a wonderful place."

  • RC

"We had a large family get together there and it was perfect. Beautiful rustic cottage with great front porch overlooking the lake where we all spent our evenings talking and watching the sunsets. Wonderful white kitchen lighting up the morning while we waited for coffee. Great location in Ephraim. So many great memories for the future."
