  • Most Excellent Celebration

"We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The description was spot on and the photos gave us a wonderful idea of what was ahead. The home was beautifully appointed, and when we arrived some of the crew was still there to let us in. It was on the quiet side of Door County--just what we were looking for. You can't go wrong booking this property, it was great. Be sure to eat at Johnson's in Ephraim and get your dessert down the street at Wilson's Ice Cream (Yummy). Go to Washington Island on the Ferry and take the Cherry Train for a tour--great value and no walking--Yeah! Exploring the whole of Door County was a wonderful adventure for us and our family. We hope to go back for next year's anniversary. :)"

  • Quiet and Comfortable

"My two sisters, mother and niece spent an enjoyable week at the home. The surroundings are very peaceful. There's a road that does a mile loop that was great for taking a walk. We were fortunate to have incredible weather for the month of August. We turned off the air and let the screen doors flow in fresh air. There was a fire pit down by the lake that we utilized. The layout of the home was nice allowing my mother to have the first floor bedroom/bath and not have to do the stairs. There is a HUGE tub in the master bedroom upstairs. We would sightsee for 4-5 hours during the day and then come back in the evenings and cook supper, watch a movie, talk and just relax. The owners are very pleasant and responded to my emails/phone calls promptly. Very enjoyable week!"

  • Quiet and comfortable

"My wife and I spent a long weekend in autumn. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood on Clark Lake. There are houses on either side, but the wooded area gives a feeling of privacy. The furnishings are really comfortable, and although the decor is older we were not "roughing it" in the least. The location is great: Right next to Whitefish Dunes State Park and Cave Point County Park. Off the beaten path, but an easy drive to anywhere in Door County. Be warned: There's no internet, and very limited/spotty DirecTV. (It couldn't fully locate the satellite, and none of the local channels came in at all.)"

  • My Stay

"I was recently a guest at your cabin for the third year and enjoyed myself immensely. It is so quaint and rustic it just calls your name to come and relax. I enjoyed Lake Alma, especially all the fish I caught while enjoying the wildlife on shore while I trolled the lake. There was more than enough room for my party with the three bedrooms, which were extremely comfortably furnished. The cabin is always clean and well kept up. The wildlife (mostly deer) walking through the yard makes you feel as if you are in another world. I also enjoyed the close proximity to the Twilight Pub, when my party and I did not feel like cooking we were able to go there and get some wholesome food at a reasonable price."
