"This log cabin is perfect for a family getaway. The house is beautiful, and conveniently located a few minutes outside of Egg Harbor. We found it to be quiet, private, and incredibly spacious. We were very happy with how clean it was, how well appointed it was (no problem cooking in the kitchen - it was completely stocked, and there are two partial kitchens on the upper and lower floors), and how comfortable it was to just hang out. Every member of our family quickly found their own favorite spot to chill out. Best of all, the owners were very attentive and helpful. We had a car problem during our stay that left us stranded at the house. One phone call resulted in almost instant help.
FYI, there is no WiFi at the cabin, but that worked to our advantage in limiting our teenagers' screen time and resulted in great family time.
Door County is a great destination with more activities and shopping than can be crammed into one week. We will definitely be booking again when we return to Door County."

"We spent a long weekend at the "cottage" to celebrate my daughter's Masters Degree graduation. Our family of four and my 90 year "young" mother thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home is very beautiful, warm, inviting and homey. The pictures are very accurate and the house creates a very relaxing atmosphere and plenty of space to spread out. The house is fully equiped with just about everything you could ask for including board games, movies for the kids and grown ups, books to read and many homey touches. The kids and I played soccer in the yard and enjoyed the soothing sounds of the lake. Even on a rainy Sunday we enjoyed breakfast at the Town Hall Bakery, a friendly visit to Stella Maris church and a relaxing day inside. Be sure to explore both sides of Door County with great restaurants and shops. Be sure to visit the Simon Creek Vinyard and Winery for great wine tasting in a beautiful setting! Our trip is one to remember for years to come."

Family Fun Place ... perfect location for our needs
"Getting my family all together at the same time in the same place is sometimes mission impossible. Coming in from Wyoming and Montana and western Wisconsin ... this place was perfect. The home is setup for family together time ... which is exactly what we wanted! We enjoy being lazy in the morning with our coffee, making meals together, and ending the day around a campfire. This home gave us all of that and the bonus of a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The shoreline is shallow enough that the water was warm enough for the kids to get good and wet. Close enough for spending a good day in Door county tasting some wine, beer, pies, fudge, etc. Scheduled a day of fishing out of Algoma ... successful and one 16 pound King Salmon fed our family of 7 ... YUM ... packed the rest up to take home. Alogma grocery store had everything we needed and very close by. Loved the large master bedroom ... with the windows open at night ... fell asleep listening to the waves. VonStiehl winery in Algoma was my favorite ... wonderful outside patio with a view of the bay. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope we get the opportunity to come back again."

"The home itself is awesome! It had all the room necessary for the ten of us. The grandkids ranging in age from 6 to 16 all loved it, and the adults did as well. The lake front and large yard are great for kids and they actually played games like stick ball that did not require electronics or wi fi We would love to come back!"
