"We booked this house for our annual girls getaway weekend. It was absolutely perfect for our group. The house was beautiful, warm and inviting. The owners were accommodating, welcoming and very easy to work with! We have already booked the house for our next year's get together!"

"This was our first trip to Door County, we had such a great holiday will be booking again next year!
The views from the house are beautiful, as our 3 young boys are early risers we had the opportunity to see the breathtaking sunrise most mornings!
The house had everything we needed, was clean & comfortable for a family of 5.
We made great use of the beach toys & hired a paddle board from Bailey's Harbour.
As recommended by the owner we took a trip to the Farm - what a great day! (I'd pack a lunch though)
Being from England & not having them we took advantage of the drive in - we loved it!! I think the adults had as much if not more fun than the kids!
The only thing I would say is the house is on the main road which could get busy at times. It made me nervous enough to not allow the children in the garden without supervision. However we couldn't hear the road noise from inside the house or the beach -the road wouldn't be a problem for less nervous mums or older children.
We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again!"

"My bride and I rented this cabin for the week following our wedding. We live in Sheboygan, WI and planned a wedding in the north woods of Wisconsin at a resort. After our time at the resort we wanted to get away from people/crowds for our honeymoon and this place was perfect. The log cabin is an original 1930s cabin but but with all necessary modern amenities. The views from the main bedroom or the porch overlooking Rest Lake are beautiful. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the boathouse porch. We took advantage of the use of the pontoon boat to get to other lakes on this 10 lake chain of lakes. And we took the canoe out to an island for a picnic. My bride and I are also avid bicyclists and this place is perfect for a bicycling fan. There is a new blacktop bike trail that begins at the end of the road and this trail is extensive. We rode it from Manitowish Waters to Boulder Junction and then on to Sayner. Very scenic. I know the trail connects to St. Germain too, but we had reached our max at that point. The towns of Manitowish Waters and Boulder Junction are surprisingly fun. We found some great supper clubs and taverns (Little Bohemia, Blue Bayou, White Oak Grill, the Pea Patch, Aqualand Ale House, Smokeys). Aqualand has a great tap beer list and White Oak was very impressive for fine dining. There were also some great shops in Boulder Junction for keepsakes from the north woods. This place made us so comfortable and we had so many things to do that we actually went the whole week without checking our phones or e-mails. Oh, another thing that surprised me was the sandy bottom of the lake immediately in front of the cabin. Great for swimming. No seaweed. This place was great for us and I could imagine it being great for couples with kids too. The hosts were also great. They live next door to this cabin so they are available for information or help if necessary. But they also had the decency not to interrupt us during our vacation. Great people, great cabin, and great vacation."

"We rent a cabin on a lake in either Minnesota or Wisconsin every summer, and this was the nicest cabin we've stayed at. The cabin is nicely decorated, and feels very homey. We have young children (7 and 4), and felt perfectly comfortable letting them roam the grounds without keeping an eye on them every second. They loved the swingsets, the beach and fishing off the docks. The cabin is well stocked, and my kids loved watching Disney movies on VHS. (They'd never even seen a tape, lol.) They loved their bunk beds as well. I enjoyed the hiking trails near the property, and my husband caught a 2-foot northern off the dock. We met Gayl and her husband, and they were very friendly and accommodating. Rhinelander was only a five minute drive from the cabin, which was nice in case you needed to run into town for supplies. No one wanted to go home at the end of the week!"
