  • Spacious, Comfortable and Clean

"What a great place to stay! Spacious, comfortable and clean! The owner (Sue) and manager (Bruce) were both so helpful. We had never been to the Northwoods before and they informed us about all of the great places to visit, restaurants, grocery stores, and even where we might be able to catch some fish. Bent's camp nearby has a great restaurant and of course a Friday Night Fish Fry. My children loved seeing Bond Falls (waterfalls) and rafting on the Wisconsin River. I would highly recommend staying at Angler's Isle the Executive Home."

  • Beautiful home, trustworthy owners

"The house was everything you would hope for. Cozy, clean, comfortable. The other two cabins aren't too close and the piers are easily accessible. We enjoyed visiting Bonds Falls, Crystal Lake and you should be sure to visit Bent's Camp just down highway B from the cabin. We enjoyed great fishing while we stayed in late June...nice perch and crappies were plentiful (along with some bullheads and small northern). We saw many loons, eagles and families of geese as well as turtles. There is also a beautiful beach just down the road at Black Oak Lake--a beautifully clear lake! The one drawback was we had a group of 10 and there was only sleeping space for 8. So just be aware of this if you have a larger group...I wouldn't recommend the Eagles Nest...although I'm sure the other two cabins would have been fine for us. The couch and loveseat could hold small children, however."

  • Serenity at its finest!!!

"This review is long overdue, and I personally I am upset at myself for not writing about this the day I arrived back as it was such a treat! My girlfriend and I ended up having a long weekend off and found out a week before, so we were in a mad rush to find a place. We both couldn't be happier that Robert was very flexible on such short notice, and Ian was there in a heartbeat when we had a question on how to start the motor on the boat. Very professional and just a great thing to know there are such great people out there that are so accommodating. NOW ONTO THE GOOD STUFF! It was just my girlfriend and myself, and man oh man did we love it. There was plenty of room for 2 people, as it can probably fit 6 people comfortably. We had no idea what to expect, so we brought our whole apartment up there, and there was so much we didn't actually need, as the cabin was outfitted with a full kitchen which helped big time! We had a boat with a motor, a kayak, and a paddleboat, what more can you ask for? We went fishing for one of the days from sun up to sun down, and had a great time. It is so PEACEFUL, and it was really awesome watching the eagles, and they were watching us fishing, and would swoop down every time we threw a fish back in, something I will never forget for the rest of my life. My girlfriend is a photographer, and not to diminish her skills, but it is really hard to take a bad picture out there. Everything, and I mean everything is so beautiful. We have made a pact to go up there at least twice a year moving forward, and we can't wait to share this gem with our families and friends for years to come. Thanks again Ian and Robert for your hospitality, you will see much more of us!"
