  • My Stay

"I was recently a guest at your cabin for the third year and enjoyed myself immensely. It is so quaint and rustic it just calls your name to come and relax. I enjoyed Lake Alma, especially all the fish I caught while enjoying the wildlife on shore while I trolled the lake. There was more than enough room for my party with the three bedrooms, which were extremely comfortably furnished. The cabin is always clean and well kept up. The wildlife (mostly deer) walking through the yard makes you feel as if you are in another world. I also enjoyed the close proximity to the Twilight Pub, when my party and I did not feel like cooking we were able to go there and get some wholesome food at a reasonable price."

  • Not your typical up-north cabin....

"I am a very picky traveler, and have never been very impressed with any vacation properties in the Wisconsin northwoods. However, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this one. It was clean and comfortable, very roomy and private, reasonably priced and the owners clearly wanted us to be happy. The bathroom is an important factor for me, and this one was clean, the shower curtain appeared new, nothing gross was seen growing anywhere. The bed had a memory foam topper on it that was comfortable. The fireplace made it cozy at night. The free WiFi was handy so we could check the weather and radar before starting off on an outdoor adventure. We have AT&T, so we had cell phone reception almost all the time. We took a short walk to the end of their trail to see their horses. My husband enjoyed the fishing, and even caught a 21" walleye on the last day. One of the main purposes of our trip was to go atv riding, which isn't an option in Vilas county. But trails in neighboring counties are so close, it was worth it to drive to a different county for trail-riding, while staying at this exceptional property."

  • Extraordinary Lake Home

"At this price point, one has certain expectations of what a vacation rental should be. The Tinti Home certainly met and surpassed every one of them. After a hectic couple of years, my sister, niece and I decided to treat ourselves to a long weekend in Door County, and stretched our budgets on a luxury rental. The weather was very chilly, with high winds (gusts up to 50 mph) coming off the bay. The home is so solidly built that there wasn't a single draft or rattling window pane. We were cozy and warm during our entire stay. A roaring fire in the fireplace was perfect after spending the afternoons shopping, driving around, and dining out. Although the weather can be uncooperative this time of year, this home was so lovely that we really didn't care to go anywhere else anyway. We promised ourselves to come back in the summer to enjoy the deck, backyard, fire pit and waterfront. The furniture is extremely comfortable . . . especially the bed in the master suite. The kitchen is to die for. The leasing representative called during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking and that we had no problems. The deposit was returned promptly. Our only (minor) complaint is cell phone service is spotty. Our US Cellular phones were able to send/receive texts inside the house, but we could only get enough bars to send/receive calls in certain areas of the house. AT&T didn't work at all. There is no land line, which could be a concern if there were an emergency. WiFi internet is slow. But all-in-all, the awesomeness of this home made up for these minor issues. The views from every room are spectacular. Although the beach is rocky and not easily accessible for small children, elderly or disabled, the home is so lovely, every age group would enjoy it. We'll be back!!!"
