"We had everything we needed at the house. We enjoyed having the windows open so we could hear the sounds of the waves of Lake Michigan. We had plenty of space as well. Our only complaint was the main bed was too firm for us. But that was minor compared to how much we enjoyed the house and being right on the lake."

"A wonderful cabin on a beautiful lake with fishing. If you're looking to get back to nature and do some fishing this is the place to be, just beautiful. The cabin is fully furnished with all the necessities of home, including a washer and dryer, and has a wonderful kitchen! The town of Pickerel has a few country stores and many quaint little restaurants. The pictures of this cabin on VRBO don't do it enough justice, this cabin really is a beauty, with a beautiful deck in the back overlooking the lake to sit on and listen to all the wonderful sounds of nature. I would highly recommend this cabin, and we personally would like to return next year, but a little bit earlier in the year and we would RENT a boat. Great place."

Beautiful Resort with Meticulously Maintained Cabins
"We rented a 2 bedroom cabin with a couch in the living room that converts to a bed. It was spotless and well equipped with all amenities such as dishes, silverware, pots and pans, cups and many other items. Beds are very comfortable as well as the couch. We had 5 people to stay in the cabin all week and really enjoyed our stay. They also supply you with many boats, kayaks, pedal boats and a swimming deck to play with as well as all the life preserves you need and other water toys for the kids. If you are into fishing, the lake is a well kept secret! We caught many large mouth bass over 14 inches, one was actually over 17 inches and weighed over 3 pounds! There are also lots of little bluegills but also a good amount of larger bluegills as well as crappies, perch and even bullheads! Last year we caught a nice Northern Pike! When fishing most times we caught fish on smaller lures and light line as well as night crawlers and minnows. They supplied firewood for each each night and a special fire pit. All in all it was a very fun week and we plan to come again soon!"

"We stayed at this cozy little cabin for a long weekend with our dogs and had a great time. We wanted a centrally located cabin as we had a lot planned and wanted to be able to get from bay to bay quickly & this couldn't have been a better location for that! Just a block off the water, we were within walking distance to the visitor center, eateries and a few shops. The cabin had ample parking and was very clean. It is very small and if we go back I think we would check into the other side of the cabin as it has the bedroom separated from the living area. This cabin is just 1 big room so you ended up sitting on the bed to watch tv and do everything else.
The adjoining cabin was rented for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and you could hear some noise back and forth, not a lot but muffled voices and furniture being moved. We didn't spend a ton of time in the cabin so for us this wasn't an issue.
The cabin had all the amenities you need and we will look at renting one of the sides of this cabin again!
Thanks for everything"
