"We had the best time at Northern Memories! This vacation was a sweet little ending to our summer. We couldn't have been happier with the home or the property it was on. The pictures inside do not do it justice. Everyone in our party agreed that this cabin exceeded expectations. The kids in our group were occupied outside the whole time we were there, other than the 2 rainy days. And even when it rained, we enjoyed the many choices of board games. The fishing was GREAT! All 3 kids caught fish, including a 21 inch walleye! We will definitely be back! Thank you!"

"Look if your looking for a resort, or luxury this isn't your ticket. If your looking for a well kept and maintained, quiet place to relax you can't do much better. The cottage was clean and well taken care of upon arrival with all the basics there. It isn't as out of the way as I had originally thought, but it's still the last property at the end of the road and if you don't want to see anyone and unplug this is precisely what you'll get. That's such a hard thing to find these days.
The land itself is beautiful and serene. The water front isn't something to rave about, but you will have them all to yourself. They are both well protected and even with a light breeze were almost like glass. Do yourself a favor and wander a little farther to the smaller lake that has a lovely picnic table and fire pit right next to the water a perfect place to enjoy dinner and an evening bottle of wine. Hiking along the paths was also quiet and serene. Also really appreciated that I could bring my dog as it cut down on the hassle of trying to find a vacation spot.
Only issue, and it was not a big one. There is internet in the cottage, but it was spotty and only worked about half the time I was there with the modem not connecting to the internet regardless of wireless or wired use. Not the owners fault, and really it was appreciated since it forced trule unplugging, but if your reading there is internet and planning on that access it was unreliable.
Can't wait until I can return."

"Two of us spent four nights here and needed nothing. Place was stocked and clean. I was happy with the view, the location, and the value. I only wish the dog was able to come out and play as I am an animal person and would have liked to pet him a while. My boyfriend and I agree we would live to return!!"

"We really enjoyed our time in this very nice Condo. It is spacious and in very good condition. The place is well stocked with accessories / cookware and is just like being at home. Our only issue was you open the back patio blinds and your staring at the parking lot of the Yacht club. Car doors and noise until they close and also the garbage man and beer deliveries come around 5am so if you your sleeping in forget it,. Bed is a double bed in Master again so small bed and no TV. No grill (well, the one in the garage is very small charcoal travel / tail gate grill). Finally boat slips are first come first serve. We went before busy season. I would be worried about not getting a slip or loosing it while out on the lake when the place is busy (obviously only if your a boater)."
