"My family of 5 (3 teenagers) enjoyed this vacation spot so much that we returned for our 2nd summer in a row. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything one would need for the week. We made most of our meals thanks to a fully functional kitchen and grill. The water is very clean and warm. We all enjoyed swimming out to the raft and using the paddle boat and kayaks to tool around the lake. The included inflatables were perfect for those lazy hours on the water. We loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening while listening to the loons on the lake. When the weather wasn't cooperating, we enjoyed the many games and movies/dish available. Our dog even felt the pleasure of being on vacation. We'll definitely return to this gem."

"We loved our four nights at the Lakeside Cabin! The owners are so very nice and hospitable and have thought of everything. They even allowed us to use their canoe and inflatables for swimming the entire week. If you are looking for peace and quiet than this is the place. We never shared the lake with anyone the entire week (although there are other cottages we always felt like we were the only ones there). The owners live in town, but also own the cabin right next door for their personal use. Their cabin is close, but they were only there for a couple hours in the evening, and were very respectful of our privacy and vacation.
This is a classic "up north" Wisconsin cabin. Nothing fancy, but very well maintained and clean.
The view of the lake from the screen porch is wonderful for breakfast in the morning and playing games in the afternoon. The pier is good sized and just a perfect spot for a relaxing book, a refreshing swim, or just sitting and enjoying the view.
The deck is a perfect spot for eating your evening meal while over looking the lake (you are practically on top of the water).
The fire pit is a great way to end a perfect day. We even cooked a couple steaks over the open fire as well. There is a gas grill provided, but you can't beat that taste of cooking over a camp fire (cooking grates are right behind the pit).
As I write this review I wish we were back again. Just what we needed.
When you visit say hi to Kiva and Nellie for us!"

"My wife and I enjoyed your wonderful place on the wild and beautiful shore of Lake Michigan. It was a fun little place with awesome views and a wild feel that made it seem a million miles away from home. We enjoyed the great hiking at Tofte Point, The Ridges Sanctuary and Peninsula State Park. The roar of the waves and the sunrises we saw from our bed each morning will never be forgotten."

"What a wonderful place to stay! The cottage is very well kept and has beautiful views of Carol's property. Plenty of room for the children to play and for the adults to relax! The location is perfect if you want to visit neighboring towns. This was our first vacation rental and we could not have asked for a better experience."
