"We could not have had a better experience at Sweetbriar. We have four newly married children and they loved having their own space that felt like a romantic retreat, with luxurious baths and seating areas by their own fireplaces. Four poster beds, wingback chairs, and tastefully decorated suites felt like a special retreat. Their were several gathering spaces in the home--a sun porch area for doing puzzles and playing games, or just rocking in the wicker rockers enjoying morning coffee... a family room with a fireplace and wine bar, and a living room with a large television where we all gathered to watch the Cub's game! We had 16 of us gathered around the dining room table and the KITCHEN!! The kitchen was perfect for FIVE of us cooking at the same time--true perfection!
We have been doing this family reunion in Door County for over 60 years and we hope to make Sweetbriar our 'home' during our fall celebration.
Would highly recommend!"

"We loved the location of this property, right across from the beach and in the heart of the village. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. The house was pretty well equipped. The only real downfall were the cooking supplies such as pots and pans. The pans were a bit rusty but we lined everything with aluminum foil and it helped. Other than that, the house had great TV, plenty of games and reading material. We would definitely rent this property again. Thank you to Karen for the thorough instructions and contact numbers."

"I've just returned from yet another stay at Ann's Cottage, this time during peak fall foliage week. I've stayed here 4 or 5 times over the years, both in the Spring and in the Fall, and I can't say which I enjoy better. The cottage feels like home to me now, and my "get away from it all" week always flies by with a mix of daytime exploring, shopping and finding new places to grab a bite. And there is always that cozy fireplace (with plenty of complimentary wood!) to warm my tootsies in the evenings before drifting off to the sound of the waves from the nearby shore. When I first started coming, I was afraid that I'd find many of the stores and galleries closed, since it was late May, but I was pleasantly surprised that virtually all of the area attractions were open. The same held true yet again last week, and I was able to enjoy everything that Fish Creek and the surrounding towns had to offer. There's nothing like waking up on a brisk morning and getting that first whiff of clean, pure air in the secluded forest surrounding the cottage. All I can say is "aaahhhhhh.""

"The condo was very clean, with new-looking, comfortable furniture. Loved the fireplace--great for chilly evenings. The pond and fountain added a lovely view and serenity. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was great--easy driving to just about all the Door County sights. Would recommend to other potential renters."
