  • Best Family Vacation!

"My family of 6 had the best time this summer! The house fit us all perfectly! We had campfires every night and tubed on the lake all day! My older boys (14 and 11 yrs old) enjoyed using the John boat w/ oars for gills...and my younger 2 (3 and 2 yrs old) caught tons of gills off the dock! Can't beat a week of relaxing up north!"

  • Excellent value. Much nicer than the pictures. Nice owner.

"We were lucky to reserve this town house for a last minute trip. The location is excellent; at the edge of downtown with great restaurants nearby and the state park next door. The house was spotless and everything looks new. We were worried about the comforters pictured but we were wrong, they were new. Pictures don't do this place justice. Very comfortable and ideally located. The owner was responsive and nice over the phone. A very pleasant stay overall. Highly recommended and we wouldn't hestitate to stay here upon return to beautiful Door County. P.S. The Cookery and Wild Tomatoe are both excellent restaurants 5 mins walk away."

  • Loved this cabin, it was perfect for a small family

"This cabin exceeded our expectations in just about every way. We stayed here for 4 nights (myself, husband, 11yr old son and small dog) and I was very impressed how well it was decorated and put together. Although it is small, there was more than enough storage for all of our stuff, the kitchenette had well stocked and they had lots of little extras I was not expecting. My only comments I would make for future travelers is that the ladder to the upper loft (2 twins on the floor up there) was straight up and very challenging to climb up and down. Once my son went up for the night, he was there until morning, but he loved it and dubbed it his "Man Cave". Also, the free wifi was not good and I couldn't even get regular cell service on my iphone through ATT, so we couldn't communicate with our family staying in Fish Creek until we drove out of Ephraim. We couldn't even check email with the free wifi, but this was honestly more of a nuisance than anything else. We dealt with it just fine - it was vacation after all! We used the grill one night (they had matches and charcoal!) and loved the little table and chairs outside for our morning coffee. There is no A/C, but door county is generally cool at night and they had 3 fans in the unit. We brought our own bedding, towels and toiletries, which was no big deal. Our dog loved running around in the big yard and overall this was a hit with our family. We would go back for sure. Thank you!"

  • Cozy, Quaint Getaway for Two

"We were looking for an affordable, cute cottage for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary without children and came across this listing. Despite having troubles finding the exact location when we arrived (but that is because it was dark outside), when we walked into the cabin, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the pictures posted. Only thing missing was a pizza pan. :) It was perfect for what we needed and I loved being so close to Kangaroo Lake which is amazingly clean and provides a beautiful sunset. You are close to both Baileys Harbor and Jacksonport. We would definitely consider renting again."
