"Cabin #3 was a fantastic experience! The cabin was very comfortable, well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable and it was nice not to provide our own linen. this being a first in our many cabin rentals. We had great nights around the fire and awesome days and evenings fishing! We got to meet Charley ( the caretaker) what a nice man, very helpful and easy to talk to. We will be back and highly recommend this place to everyone! Other than having to come home, everything was perfect! Thank you Todd for sharing your place with us!"

"This was our 3rd year spending a week at this peaceful getaway! Again....we had a wonderful time! A few highlights included the black bear who travelled through the yard (no more than 50 ft. from the back door). He spent what seemed to be five minutes staring at our black truck, but just enough time for us to watch! Very cool!
The fishing was awesome this year! We were catching good size pan fish right from the dock! We took the row boat out 100+ft. and added a mixture of Great sized perch, bluegill,
sunfish, small mouth bass.....all catch and release! They were biting on night crawler and bobber all day long! Hubby caught a "large" 2+lb. Large mouth bass on worm and bobber in 2 ft. of water on our last day......which again..... makes him the winner of the largest fish!!!!!
The weather was awesome, the mosquitoes were not bad (with spray 😎).
The Hilltop cabin has everything necessary for comfort. If you need anything else....Sally and Zeke (owners) are very helpful, knowledgeable about the surroundings, accommodating and friendly.
Sally and Zeke....THANK YOU for renting to us!!! We had a fantastic time! It gets harder to leave every year!!! Dogs have been sleeping since we left!!! They are exhausted!
Thank you again!

"Another successful vacation at the Ellmann House!
I and my family come every year to enjoy Door County, Fish Creek and the house. The house has all the comforts we need and the location is the best.
The huge porch is a wonderful place to gather any time of the day for meals, cocktails or a good book and a nap.
We will be back."

"I just returned from the Buena Vista Lodge after celebrating my wife's 40th birthday. I could not have been happier with the lodge. Based upon the reviews I had read prior to leaving, I had very high expectations. These expectations were exceeded in every way. Prior to arriving I found my communications and interactions with the owner to be seamless. The owner was extremely responsive even after normal business hours. Once I arrived, the lodge was in impeccable condition. The furnishings were all high quality. The lodge has tons of living space and has a floor plan that accommodates large groups of people extremely well. The lodge is very private and isolated. We felt as if we had the lake to ourselves. We enjoyed renting ATV's from Motor Sports Marine which is just a few miles away. They only had 3 ATV's but we rented them for 8 hours and were able to keep switching every few hours so 14 people were able to enjoy ATV'ing throughout the day. The ATV trails are close to the lodge and we were able to meet at Lil Hummers (a very nice local bar) to exchange the ATV's. We all went white water rafting at Shot Gun Eddy which is about a half hour away. I highly recommend rafting. It is a ton of fun. But, be sure that the water level is good for rafting (I would say between 500 and 900 cubic feet per second). This lodge is a very special place. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you are fortunate to spend some time here. Words can not adequately capture the experience of staying at the lodge. It will leave you with life long memories. You will not be disappointed."
