  • Wonderful Fall Weekend Stay

"We rented this house from Sept 25-28 for a long weekend getaway and had an absolute amazing time! The location is absolutely perfect, you can't ask for more - directly across from the beach, what a gorgeous view! And we were able to walk to all of our favorite shops and restaurants, which for us is a must-have when staying in Fish Creek. We had four adults and four kids age 2-6 and it worked out perfectly having 6 bedrooms. It definitely has the "cottage" old and rustic feel, if you want a new and updated house this is not the one for you. But if you want lots of charm and perfect location don't hesitate to rent it! We would love to stay here again. The only cons I can think of are only having 1 shower for 8 people, and having to bring our own sheets and towels. I actually enjoyed Sleeping with my own bedding but it just made for a lot to pack. However the price is so reasonable and location so awesome bringing these things wasn't a huge deal. We loved being right across the street from the beach/playground for the kids, and being able to come and go so easily. One last perk is having the adorable blue horse cafe right next door for coffee and breakfast. Would recommend this house to anyone!"

  • Great Resort, Great Condo

"My family of five stayed here Friday-Monday, didn't plan on staying at the condo much, but did more than we planned on, didn't even realize there were tv's in both bedrooms until Sunday besides one in the living room, DVD player and nice CD stereo system. Loved the deck, great for morning coffee and afternoon reading. The staff at the Landmark was outstanding and the facilities were so green and clean and lots of amenities. Close to town and even closer to the beach, but plenty of pools at Landmark itself. The owner was great to work with and the unit was very clean and decorated nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, are only regret is that we should have stayed longer."

  • Great Family Vacation

"LOVED THIS PLACE.... We had a wonderful time. The cabin is very spacious and Rest Lake is a great body of water. Fishing was great, we even have a video of an Eagle catching a fish. Everything you need is there, you are so close to the town of Manitowish Waters. (the town pretty much closes down at 8pm so if you need something make sure you go before 8) I almost don't want to give it such a great review so we can keep this place to ourselves. The boathouse roof was the perfect spot for morning coffee and the swimming area by the dock is very sandy. It was very cool in the evenings when we were there so we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful fireplace. Thanks for such a great place!"

  • Breathtaking!

"This paradise is not easy to find but once you come upon it you are awestruck! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and Kay has not forgotten one single thing. The wrap-around deck looks out onto a peaceful lake just yards away through the pine trees. Spices, cooking oils, marshmallows for the fire pit, a bag of ice in the freezer, magazines, books, new set of pots and pans, horseshoe pit, sand pile including toys for kids, hammocks, tether ball, a pedal boat, a canoe, a fishing boat, pier, fishing poles, and a 2-car attached garage are some of the amenities! I could go on and on. We always rent log cabins in the Smoky Mountains and none have been this complete and up-to-date. The kitchen is outfitted with all new appliances. It even has a radiant convection cooktop range - which we had no idea how to work- but we do now. There is a full size washer and dryer as well. Finally...the cabin is gorgeous logs inside and beautifully decorated. Sparking clean. We are here as I write this, the last week of September and the leaves are spectacular! A black bear even walked across our driveway which made our week complete. I would recommend this very secluded paradise to anyone - unless you're looking for a mall. You won't find it here!"
