  • Nice little cottage!

"We stayed at this cottage for a week in Aug 2012. It's very cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The gas grill is a nice one and the satelite tv picked up lots of channels. The lake is very clean and has a nice sandy bottom. Several deer made an appearance by the driveway and also the side of the cottage. The loons sang to us almost every day and the bald eagle soared above our heads several times. There is a moderately steep stairway down to the lake so be ready to climb. This cottage is very close to the main house (which is also rented out) so be forewarned that you will share the driveway, dock, swimming raft, and campfire area with the people in that house."

  • Fabulous place for a family

"Door County is an incredible place to visit, the villages, orchards, and sightseeing opportunities are many. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home base while we were staying in Egg Harbor. The condo was very well equipped & spotless. We cooked several meals there and had everything we wanted in the kitchen. It was so comfortable that it was like being at home (with no 'to do' list). There is loads of room! We had two adults and two teens and we all had room to relax. I love the master bedroom, closet & bath, enough floor space to do cartwheels. The walking path to the village is just wonderful. You must visit the Main Street Market in Egg Harbor for provisions. It is an excellent market; we walked down in the morning, picked up pastries & juice and ate them in the little gazebo on the trail overlooking the harbor, breathtaking! I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Labor Day Weekend

"The cabin was immaculate, which we really appreciated. Our 10-year-old grandson caught fish right off the pier, which delighted him. The on-site manager's were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend!"

  • Nicely equipped and secluded

"We had a group of 9 in this clean spacious cabin. We were very pleased with the way the house was laid out and the amenities. From little things like lots of towels and linens and lots of hooks to hang towels and gear, to the kayaks and canoes that are included. Kitchen was well equipped and the 2 refrigerators worked well for food and drinks. We appreciated the quality dry firewood provided (honor system payments). It is nice paddle down the river to the lake (and the eagle's nest). We caught a bucket full of crawfish for dinner in the river by hand and they were the best we had ever had (including 'Nawlins). Lots of wildlife to see including river otters, herons, kingfisher, loons and more. If you are into biking the roads and trails are perfect for hybrids or mountain bikes. The property is on a peninsula / bend in the river and you cannot see the neighbors. Definitely recommended."
