  • Another great stay at the Ellmann House

"Another successful vacation at the Ellmann House! I and my family come every year to enjoy Door County, Fish Creek and the house. The house has all the comforts we need and the location is the best. The huge porch is a wonderful place to gather any time of the day for meals, cocktails or a good book and a nap. We will be back."

  • Pam and Earl Sjogren

"This lake home was much more than we expected - it was great! Very roomy and well equipped with everything we could have imagined. Very clean with well kept. We loved the yard with the fire pit...everything was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone and will keep it in mind if we are ever in the area again. Thank you so much. Pam and Earl Sjogren"

  • Fun for all

"Our whole family, 8 adults and 3 children, stayed in this great home for a week. With the 3 levels we all had our own space to relax in but also plenty of room to gather together for meals and games. We used the first pit in the back yard several times. Location is great!"

  • Amazing Place to stay for 2-4 people!

"This was our first VRBO experience, and were a little hesitant to try renting out a house. Now, we were so spoiled that we are hesitant to try any place BUT this place! The house was immaculate. It was the perfect size for 2-4 people. You could probably sleep up to 6 (kids don't mind couch or sleeping bags) and be fine. We went in early October, so we didn't get to take full advantage of everything they offer. (We'll be back!) The two encounters we had with Glenn, he was incredibly nice and helpful. They gave us quite a bit of privacy, which was great. Some Observations: - Go for a hike on the hiking trail! I'm by no means a hiker, but it was really nice and Rocco, our doberman, loved every minute of it! - The cabin is all on the 2nd floor. We had no problem with it, other than getting Rocco used to open stairs, but something to keep in mind for those who have problems with stairs. - The thermostat is next to the main bedroom door. It took us awhile to find it. :) Things to do on rainy days. (We got stuck with a couple bad weather days) - Tour Crandon. It's a nice little town. I recommend "The On Deck" for some amazing sushi. Who would've thought Crandon would have excellent sushi!? - Tour the winery in Three Lakes. It's just about a 10-15 minute tour, with a free wine tasting. Also has some good cheese spreads. Three Lakes is about a 25 minute drive. - We went to Potawatomi Casino for a night. We aren't the gambling type, but it was enjoyable. We didn't try the closer, but smaller casino. All in all, it was a great vacation and we have every intention of going back!"
