  • Girls Weekend Getaway

"We had a group of females looking for a place to stay for a weekend getaway in Door County. This place worked out great! We needed a place that could accomodate a large group with plenty of room for everyone to sleep and relax - and plenty of bathroom space (remember all women!). We had 8 stay the first night and the second night we had 11 - plenty of room for all. There was another five ladies that came just for a day visit on Saturday and this place was easy to find to meet up before we hit the shops and wineries! Anything you could think of that you might need was provided. Ron and Carol were both very gracious and welcoming. All agreed we would rent this beautiful place again in the future !!"

  • Gem on the Cisco Chain

"The Top 10 Lodge is a little slice of heaven in the great Northwoods. We arrived on 8/15 to beautiful skies and an impeccably clean cabin with a breathtaking view of Big Lake on the Cisco Chain. The cabin itself is really nice - pictures really do not do it justice. There are two nice bedrooms on the main level and a loft above that has three built in beds and a nice big open space where one could put air mattresses if you had enough people to need that. There are two full bathrooms and a very nice kitchen with a nice big table with bench seating for eating inside. The deck is large and very good for sitting and reading a book, soaking up some sun, or (for us) keeping an eye on the kids as they swim or fish down by the pier. We spent the first couple of days enjoying the sun, swimming in the nice sandy-bottom area right in front of the cabin and fishing off the pier. My 7 year old caught about a 14" largemouth bass the first night, and we continued to catch perch, bass, bluegills, sunfish, and a couple of rock bass throughout the trip. We rented a pontoon from McCormack's Cisco Chain Marina on Sunday and they were great to deal with - REALLY nice pontoon boat as well for the price. The weather was not great for the entire time we were there, but we managed to find some things to do - drove into Eagle River one day, spent a good amount of time in Boulder Junction (try The Headwaters if you want a nice dinner, and Gooch's A-1 Bar and Grill for a cocktail / bite to eat). The wife and kids really enjoyed our week up here, and I think we were all sad to head home at the end. Steve, the owner, is really great to work with and promptly provided answers to all my questions throughout the process. We plan to come back for sure, and I could not recommend the place more!! Book it, it is truly a great place!!"

  • Carraig Mor is the BEST!

"Carraig Mor is by far the most lovely house we have ever rented. The house lacks for nothing. It is beautifully furnished and immaculate. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The kitchen is truly amazing. It has everything you could ever need, and it is fabulous. There is a lovely living room with a picture window looking out on the garden. And there is a cozy sitting area off the dining area. But the highlight of the house is the wrap around porch which looks out on the stunning garden. Honestly, it is like your own personal arboretum. What a very special and almost sacred place. We were lucky to be there as July turned to August, as all the flowers were in bloom. We had two dinner parties with local friends, and our guests were in awe of the beauty and lushness of the garden. A special experience."
