"We had a great time at Kaas lodge. 7 girlfriends stayed for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The house itself is located above a cheese factory and Renards cheese shop is right next door. The house is about 10 minutes from the town of Sturgeon Bay but not a bad drive at all since everything is so close. The kitchen could have a few more dishes for meal prep and it would be nice if the owners provided hand towels, but we had a wonderful time!"

"This is absolutely gorgeous cabin. As someone already mentioned, if you are not looking to stay near a mall, this is the place you want to be - secluded private lake, rustic but yet modern cabin, grills (gas, charcoal), fire pit, boats, fishing rods. I can go on. The cabin was extremely clean. 7 adult can sleep nicely but any other combination can plan for some extra sleeping arrangement. There is enough space but you want to carry some extra sleeping bags. The other thing which we liked about cabin was the layout - the 3 rooms are on 3 different floors. 3 families can live together with privacy too."

"My wife and I loved our weekend here. The wide open spaces wouldn't be what I would choose for everyday life, but for a cozy weekend, it can't be beat. The view of the bay from bed would be something we would never tire of. Sunrise, sunset or anytime in between it's simply beautiful. All you need to do is slow down and savor being present in the moment.
Bathroom is beautiful with Kohler accessories throughout. Total luxury and we loved it. No negative comments in my opinion however the kitchen gets a neutral rating. My wife and I love to cook and on night two we opted to have dinner at the Shoreline (less than a mile away) rather than try to work around the limited kitchen cookware. In the end it was a great choice as the Shoreline was wonderful and the food delicious. Saturday nights meal simply has been transitioned to tonight.
We've had a fabulous weekend and would most definitely return!"

"We came 3 nights for the 4th of July weekend. Plenty to do and see in the area at the time. Made small trips to see falls, ski shows and fireworks. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Outdoors was spacious for outdoor activities such as horseshoes, football, etc...and for relaxing on the swing in front of the huge firepit. The property is located on a bluff so you can literally see the tops of the large trees. The breeze was insansely relaxing by feel, sight, and sound. Spent a lot of my time with my arms spread wide open pointing to the sky, lol. The cottage has a small living and kitchen area. Didn't bother us because we did not come up North to watch TV and did all our cooking outside on the bbq. There is no stove/oven. A two burner stove top and microwave went unused. The bedrooms were adequate in size and had plenty of storage. The cottage is perfect for those who like to camp with amenities. The dock and rowboat got plenty of use for fishing. The current wasn't strong so paddling was easy and there were plenty of pockets of fishing spots off the island across from us. The one drawback to our weekend were the stairs down the bluff to the dock. It was well-built and had landings to rest on and take in the views, but they are not for everyone, I'm 55 and consider myself in good shape, but I wouldn't do that staircase more than 3 times a day. I recommend taking everything you need the first trip down. 😁 Overall, we had a great family-bonding time. I recommend this property for anyone looking for peace, quiet, seclusion, and relaxation."
