"I have been visiting Tomahawk since I was a baby and am now an adult with my own child. When the cabin resort my family stayed at for many many summers was sold and turned into condos, we were heartbroken and weren't sure we could find a replacement that would be similar in both price and quality. The cabins at Breezy Bay filled both of these requirements! Lake Nokomis is beautiful and has much to offer--the Breezy Bay cabins are located in a great spot around the middle of the lake, making it easy to boat to many areas. The bay is calm and the beach offers sand and a nice swimming area. I stayed in one cabin and my parents stayed in Susan's cabin, which was extremely clean and well taken care of. The deck is great for family dinners outside and the views of the lake are wonderful. We had a great week and would definitely go back for another week in the future. Thanks to Susan for renting out her cabin!"

"Our family tries to find a central(ish) location each year to get together. Due to family circumstances, Wisconsin won out this year to celebrate Grandma's life. We came from Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and Wyoming - parents, four siblings, their spouses and children - for a week on the lake in Wisconsin.
It couldn't have been more perfect.
Despite having a full house, we didn't feel at all crowded. The kitchen(s) were a dream for our family whose love language may just be serving delicious meals. The spacious yard and amenities were wonderful for the 7 wild and crazy children. The beds and showers were comfortable. The porches enabled us to have an incredible morning or evening view without the mosquitos. And I indulged a lot in long forgotten piano time, which was just what the doctor ordered.
Ellen was incredibly gracious and responsive to all emails and requests leading up to our trip. During our visit she made herself available as necessary as well.
I absolutely would recommend Ellen's Lodge to anyone. It has all the comforts you could wish for (and more), but in a location that truly feels like you're getting away from it all.
Ellen...thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Our book club stayed at the lodge for a weekend in May. We had wonderful weather which wasn't guaranteed in the contract but it was a great bonus. This place is wonderful with 12 bedrooms, no one had to share! We enjoyed the kitchen the dining hall and the bar/gameroom. Also spent time in town to check out the local establishments, there was an Art Walk that weekend. Supper Clubbing on Saturday night. We will definitely be back! Thank you MRL!"

"My wife and I stayed at the lakeside cabin for almost a week in Mid August. It is exactly as described. Irene was a very gracious and helpful host and gave us all the info we needed to have an enjoyable week. The cozy little cottage was a great place to spend some time just relaxing and taking in the gorgeous view. There was a humming bird feeder right outside the porch window which was humming with birds and a treat to watch. The outside deck was a great spot to read and/or just soak it all in. There is hiking and biking trails nearby which we took advantage of.The fishing was a bit slow but one day after some rain that certainly changed. The bass were biting and a nice sized large mouth was the highlight. Nearby Merril and Tomahawk have a variety of things to offer.
If you are looking for a quiet, quaint well taken care of cottage to relax, disconnect and soak in all that Knight lake has to offer I say check it out. If you need lots of action and reading a good book in a quiet and gorgeous spot is not your thing, I say find someplace else."
