"Our book club stayed at the lodge for a weekend in May. We had wonderful weather which wasn't guaranteed in the contract but it was a great bonus. This place is wonderful with 12 bedrooms, no one had to share! We enjoyed the kitchen the dining hall and the bar/gameroom. Also spent time in town to check out the local establishments, there was an Art Walk that weekend. Supper Clubbing on Saturday night. We will definitely be back! Thank you MRL!"

"Had the best of times at the cottage. This lake house certainly met and exceeded expectations. Great back yard with plenty of room for a family to enjoy themselves. Fishing was better then average, certainly caught a mixed bag of 10+" crappie, jumbo perch and walleye. The walleye could have been bigger (12" at best) but was fun catching anyway. The Thirsty Giraffe across the street was an excellent place to quench our thirst and get a bite to eat. Will be back again in the future."

"My wife and I stayed at the lakeside cabin for almost a week in Mid August. It is exactly as described. Irene was a very gracious and helpful host and gave us all the info we needed to have an enjoyable week. The cozy little cottage was a great place to spend some time just relaxing and taking in the gorgeous view. There was a humming bird feeder right outside the porch window which was humming with birds and a treat to watch. The outside deck was a great spot to read and/or just soak it all in. There is hiking and biking trails nearby which we took advantage of.The fishing was a bit slow but one day after some rain that certainly changed. The bass were biting and a nice sized large mouth was the highlight. Nearby Merril and Tomahawk have a variety of things to offer.
If you are looking for a quiet, quaint well taken care of cottage to relax, disconnect and soak in all that Knight lake has to offer I say check it out. If you need lots of action and reading a good book in a quiet and gorgeous spot is not your thing, I say find someplace else."

"My family and I planned a last minute get away to Tomahawk and came across Ellen's cabin in the homeaway website. So glad we did! Ellen was great from beginning to end. She answered all of our questions and made herself available at all times. The cabin was awesome! Very spacious and fully equipped. We had a great time outside by the bonfire during the night and during the day we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this spot as your next getaway!"
