"Our family had a great time at Killasonna. It was peaceful, clean and the view is priceless. We found the survival guide to be most helpful. More than enough information and guidance to get you around Door County. I would recommend Killasonna to anyone who is looking to get away from the crazy hustle and bustle of your daily routine!"

"We rented through VRBO. Bob replied to our inquiry right away.
We started booking that week. Bob was always kind and quick with all communications.
We got there right around 3PM on our arrival day. The house was perfect.
Everything was clean and in great shape.
The kitchen was freshly done with all stainless steel appliances, marble countertops and beautiful cabinets. So, the pictures on here are old.
We only used the dishwasher, fridge and microwave....we ate out every day. Those 3 things worked perfectly.
The 3 bathrooms were also newly remodeled.
All bedrooms and beds were great.
We never turned on the tv but the WiFi worked amazing. never any issues!
The kids loved the song that the washing machine played when the load was complete. They would set a timer so they wouldn't miss it.
The owner provided enough wood for fires every day, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap with brush, some paper towels, some napkins, and some outdoor candles/bug spray. You never really know when renting on VRBO, this was a nice surprise to have all of these supplies.
We had an issue with a wasp nest under the boardwalk, 3 were stung on Saturday afternoon. We called Bob/Sue and within 2 hours on a Saturday during the Hodag Music Festival (everyone local attending) an exterminator was out. Nick spent almost 2 hours getting rid of the nest. They get 10 stars for caring about their guests.
The power went out in the entire area for about 2 hours one day. When power is out, no electricity and no water...so we went over to Buck Lake to swim until it was back on. The power company called us when it was fixed.
We fished on Lake Julia with a pontoon boat...never used Bob's boat. We caught bass and crappie. We are catch and release folks. We fished off the pier and caught many bluegills.
We saw deer driving in and out of Cranes Road.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone. It was perfect!!!!"

"This is now the second time we have stayed at the Eagles Nest and each time it has been wonderful.
The accommodations offer everything you would expect and more. The lower flat is roomy, comfortable and well appointed. It is clean and well-kept. The site offers plenty of parking for cars, boats, snowmobiles and their trailers.
The quiet location is ideal for a north woods vacation. The beautiful lake out the back door and wooded, private lot was exactly what we were looking for. The outdoor fire pit and its setting was a favorite of ours, both in the early fall and winter. Exploring Lake Nokomis by boat on our early fall trip was magnificent. During our winter trip, it was convenient to ride our snowmobiles to countless maintained trails directly from the site. There are abundant attractions and establishments just minutes away, and, if you’re inclined, the small city of Tomahawk is just a few miles south.
We have found this cabin to be extremely relaxing and a great value. We have made it a favorite of ours and recommend it to everyone we know."

"We spent a long weekend at the "cottage" to celebrate my daughter's Masters Degree graduation. Our family of four and my 90 year "young" mother thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home is very beautiful, warm, inviting and homey. The pictures are very accurate and the house creates a very relaxing atmosphere and plenty of space to spread out. The house is fully equiped with just about everything you could ask for including board games, movies for the kids and grown ups, books to read and many homey touches. The kids and I played soccer in the yard and enjoyed the soothing sounds of the lake. Even on a rainy Sunday we enjoyed breakfast at the Town Hall Bakery, a friendly visit to Stella Maris church and a relaxing day inside. Be sure to explore both sides of Door County with great restaurants and shops. Be sure to visit the Simon Creek Vinyard and Winery for great wine tasting in a beautiful setting! Our trip is one to remember for years to come."
