"We had a great time staying at this lovely home. We also rented the cottage behind this house for our daughter's family and that one was nice too. The house has many amenities you need, including A/C which was especially nice as it got hot when we were there. The lake is awesome, water very clear and sand bottom. We heard the loons every night and enjoyed a bonfire most nights. My husband and son got fish every day, Northern, Croppies, Bass, and Sunfish and I even caught a Northern!! I would definitely recommend this place."

"My sister and I spent a lovely week at Carriag Mor, along with my Miniature Schnauzer. The cottage and its grounds are just beautiful. The kitchen is very large; I enjoyed cooking there and relaxing in the family room. Thanks to the many large windows and French doors, we had constant views of the garden. Upstairs, 2 of the bedrooms had views of the lake - I watched the sunrise every morning from those windows! It was wonderful to be able to take evening walks in Baileys Harbor, just a block away. I have already recommended this cottage to friends!"

"The log cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Many years ago I attended Northern Hills Girl Scout camp on nearby Cranberry and Denton Lakes (now under private ownership) and a few dozen of us former campers and staff met up for a reunion at Trees for Tomorrow in Eagle River the weekend my partner and I stayed at the cabin. We went to the public beach on Silver Lake in Eagle River and the water was clear and refreshing. We had excellent fish on Friday at the Nutty Squirrel east of Eagle River on Hwy 70. We walked the trails on the cabin's property and enjoyed the prairie flowers and trees. We purchased a steak, vegetables, and blueberries from the cabin owners at their roadside stand and all were delicious. the cabin is close to Hwy 17 however must be insulated very well since you cannot hear it at all once inside."
