  • Enjoyable family trip

"We had a great late summer family trip. Lots of fishing on the lake with lots of Northern and Bass caught. Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and taking rides in the aluminum boat that is provided. Really appreciated that pets were allowed so our dog Sammy could be with us up North. The place is not terribly rustic nor does it have all the amenities of home, but that for us was the point of an up north vacation. We went to the childrens museum in Eagle River for part of a day which was fun, and then we went to the Wildwood Zoo in Minoqua which was a lot of fun. Better in our opinion than the Milwaukee Zoo. Would recommend and will come back."

  • Great family vacation spot!

"We had a fantastic week at Hidden Pines! The accommodations were perfect for our two families of four. The kids loved the water, mini-golfing, horseback riding, and go-carting. Lots of great hiking. The lake was quiet and we rented a power boat from St. Germain Sport and Marine for tubing. We also used the canoe, row boat, and paddle boat from the cabin. Tons of great wildlife too!"

  • No Worries Here!

"Our family of five and our dog recently enjoyed staying a week at this home. It was very clean, no "smoking odor" and a very well equipped kitchen, complete with an icemaker! The two living areas of the home allowed some to read while others enjoyed watching a DVD/TV. There is a great side patio and table to enjoy outdoor meals and enjoy the lake and resident eagle! The location was perfect for us, on a smaller, quieter lake, with boat access to the larger lakes via the channels. We will definitely return to enjoy Nawaii Pines again on another vacation!"

  • Fun place for a family vacation

"We rented this home for a family fishing vacation, with our adult children, complete with two families' worth of dogs. When we first arrived, we weren't sure what to expect, but don't let the outside fool you. It's a large home, upstairs over what is I believe a cheese factory, and it is very well-done. Four bedrooms, a large living room and dining room, very nice deck. Lots of room for all of us, and a beautiful yard with some wilderness for the dogs to explore. A nice bonus was Renard's cheese shop just across the yard with lots of goodies to enjoy there or to take home. They even make breakfasts and lunches on your way to your next adventure. It was close to the highway, easy to get to the guys' fishing dock and the girls' shopping as well as some very nice restaurants. Would recommend this lovely and spacious home."
