  • God's Special Creation

"While this cabin claims to be one of God's Special Creations, she apparently was too busy creating this fine spot to provide good weather - we had 40's and rain for 3 days. We enjoyed our stay despite the weather - it's all about attitude. The weather gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful inside of this domicile, as well as explore the covered bridges in the nearby national forest, shop in Minocqua and read, read, read. I recommend LOST IN THE WILD from the cabin bookshelf - I read all 225 pages in one day. We found the hosts to be gracious and accommodating, the cabin spotless, the view calming, and the road to the cabin loaded with turkeys! We would stay here again."

  • Very Cozy Cabin

"We spent five nights at this delightful cabin. It has room to sleep a family or group of friends but we chose it for just the two of us and it was terrifically roomy. The cabin is very warmly decorated in an "up north" motif and honestly has more amenities than we had time to use. Everything we needed was there and shopping was close as well. We were able to use the pontoon boat daily and the fishing was wonderful. We were able to drive the boat to the near-by marina for gas and bait (we could have motored to Famous Dave's for dinner too but decided to do that next time). There is a sandy beach with the property, the lake bottom is sandy as well, and the water is beautifully clear. We had a great week and hope we are able to come back again next year!"

  • Beautiful week! Great service! Super friendly!

"My girlfriend and me stayed at the cabin for six nights! The cabin is well furnished and equipped (Refrigerator, Freezer, Oven, Microwave, Stove). Moose Lake was beautiful and I'd definetly recommend renting the motor for the boat just to be able to get to see everything. The great service is best described by examples. We weren't catching too much fish, so Tracy gave us new, different bait for free. Then, after a stormy night, he drove all the way up here just to check on us. He even drove us to the next town that had power to communicate with home. I'd rent the cabin again in a heartbeat."

  • Anniversary get away

"My wife and I rented this cabin for a week in late September to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Fall colors were fantastic! We couldn't have been happier! We loved the fact that the cabin was secluded. We usually take our dog and the owner was kind enough to let her come along. The owner built this cabin himself. You can tell there was a lot of thought and love that went into it. He even helped me with a recommendation to a tire service when I woke up one morning with a flat tire. We caught a couple of small Northern right from the dock. A canoe, paddle boat and a kayak are available. I would recommend this rental for anyone that wants to get away and enjoy the woods and waters of Wisconsin."
