"We stayed at the cabin for a three night stay and enjoyed a pontoon rental from Round Lake Marina. During our stay we enjoyed grilling, fishing and swimming in the very clean lake water. There is also a fire pit for nighttime bonfires. We went to the restaurant on the lake for 2 meals which were delicious. We caught a total of 10 fish. The owner is very easy to work with and get a hold of. We had a great time, for a group of four people!"

"The place was sooo much more then what I expected. I have not stayed in a rented house before but this made our trip, I did not realize how comfortable I would be.
I caught ton's of perch, seen lots of wild life including a very large snapping turtle that appeared from under the water deck, loved the paddle boat. The trip started out by finding a 5 leaf clover, wildlife abundance (from the nightly deer, to hundreds of frogs and even a bear (not on the property but on the road exiting the property) and an eagle too.
The house was well equipped with marsh mellow sticks, laundry detergent, grilling equipment with coal and lighter fluid. I had brought several fishing poles but once again there was an abundance of poles already there too. A wonderful abundance of firewood for the fireplace (both inside and out). Kitchen had all amenities including our forgotten coffee filters for my morning coffee. Beds were very comfy. The place was close enough to the town for food supplies. We used the paddle boat daily, and we also brought a paddle board that we used daily. Our phone service (verizon) worked great on the lake (LOL), on the volleyball court, in the upper bedrooms. Other parts of the house we received 1G and mostly texts came through.
Owner was great to work with! I would say I would have liked WI-FI however; I loved the idea that all of my kids were unplugged !!! And we played lots of games that was also supplied. I had a wonderful time being unplugged, enjoying family time, playing games.
The weather fluctuated from very hot days and very rainy days to chilly evenings. I did not use the AC as the breeze off the lake was enough to cool the house down. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting an enjoyable, relaxing place to stay."

"We found this 4 br home on Madeline Island to be charming and comfortable for our family of 5. Liked the open floor plan and big dining table. I sat out on the screened porch every morning with coffee listening to the white throated sparrow. We also used the fire pit one evening. Big Bay Town park is just about 2 miles, loved that. We biked and walked the road and enjoyed exploring the island. Liked the outdoor faucet for rinsing off our sandy feet. Wished the outdoor shower had worked as well. The only thing we missed in the kitchen was a blender - it would be a useful addition. We did have big dump truck and bobcat working all of one day on the next door property road, pretty noisy but it was only one day and we were at the beach for much of it. But they clearly are building something so I don't know how that will effect the quiet."

"We stayed at this cabin in late July with our four small children. The kids loved jumping off the long dock and swimming out to the raft. The sandy beach was great and there were plenty of sand toys at the cabin. The kids took the kayaks out for a spin on the lake and were surprised by a loon a few times. The duck boat was great for fishing. We caught enough fish for a fish fry one night. On rainy days they have a small pool table, lots of board games, and Wii to help entertain the kids when they can't get outside. The sunsets off the deck are beautiful.
The option to rent the ski boat was an added bonus. It was so much easier than renting from somewhere. It came with a great tube, kids skis, and adult skis.
The cabin has everything you need for cooking and grilling. The beds were great and the cabin is big enough that all of the kids had their own space. We highly recommend this for families with children."
