"We had a lovely stay...carriage house was well-maintained and stocked. The sauna was a great addition one evening and we also appreciated amenities like grill and washer/dryer. It's a great location too."

"This August we rented Ann's home and had the best time! There were 9 of us and we had room to spare. In less than 5 minutes we felt at home. The description is perfect, however I would have to say it is even better in person! Ann's home truly has everything you need for an "up north vacation"! 9 of us floated down the river to the bar for dinner, it was peaceful and exciting all at the same time. We went on a bear hunt in the evenings and twice saw one again very exciting!
Best north woods vacation spot! Thank you again Ann for sharing your wonderful retreat!"

"This was a great place for an Up North Vacation. It really has the feel of a "cabin", but well thought-out, with everything you need and spaces to relax, surrounded by two decks with beautiful views. It's on a small, peaceful, but deep lake, with good fishing. (The beavers have made passage among the chain of lakes more of a portage.) That the cabin is next to County land makes the bay more private and wild, and there are ATV and other trails that lead off right next to the cabin. We had a nice warm week and spent most of the time on the beach, dock and raft - with two dogs chasing minnows and frogs in the shallows. We rented a Stand-Up Paddleboard from Jack's in Trego, which turned out to be easy and a fun way to get around the lake. The Spider Lake Saloon across the lake is very welcoming. The cabin was great for our multi-generation family with two dogs, and we'd definitely come back again."

"This cabin is a very clean and quiet cabin with a great location on the Chippewa Flowage about 20 minutes from downtown Hayward.
The cabin itself has central air, dishwasher, coffee pot and microwave which came in handy. Also the Wifi was nice to have for netflix or whatever streaming you want to do.
The swimming area is what you would expect on a lake or river we all had water shoes for swimming and floating around the dock.
The cabin is on a good size hill so if you have elderly people or toddlers they may have trouble going up and down the hill which is where the dock and fire pit are.
Also the refrigerator freezes things in the back no matter what setting it is on.
Overall it was a fun week and I would recommend this cabin to others.
Just remember to bring the bug spray.
Thanks for a great week Heidi and Roger"
