"We spent a very relaxing and fun week with our grown children and 3 grandsons. It is a home away from home! The house is everything we expected, there is plenty of room for all of us. The view was wonderful...there was an eagle's nest with babies right by the house! The grandkids loved fishing right off the dock and the loons were very entertaining. They really loved the paddle boat and kayak that were provided!
We fished just about every day and went into Hayward to visit the Muskie Museum. The kids really liked the Lumberjack show, too! We ate most of our meals at the house but did enjoy pizza at Coop's one evening. The shops downtown are neat, too, and Hookstone Winery was fun. It is a short drive into town.
I will definately recommend this property to family and friends. It is a good location to meet as we were coming from different directions and wanted to find someplace in the middle."

"6 of us dad took our oldest child up for a weekend of ice fishing and just hanging out. The kids all had a blast and so did the dads. I would recommend this beautiful place to everyone. Michelle and the staff at Trails End were great with the kids as they went in and out for popcorn and kiddie cocktails."

"We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The home is on a quiet bay with easy access to the big lake and was perfect for kayaking. The home is immaculate and well appointed with everything you need for your stay. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend this home."

"I loved my time at this Hay Creek Cabin. We enjoyed watching a great blue heron that was fishing from the dock. Also from the dock we saw loon families and loons taking flight. We saw and heard pileated woodpeckers calling to each other and we saw bald eagles diving for fish..
I loved that, for my husband, who can't do steps, there's complete handicapped access to the fully equipped first floor: bedroom, bath, kitchenette, no steps at all, and easy downhill walk to the dock, also with no steps. Also, for the couch potatoes like us, we enjoyed the great variety in the CD, DVD and book collections. I plan to come back every year going forward."
