  • Very nice log home in great location - KEEP it Clean.

"This is one of nicest lake homes our family has rented in many years. Take your home, fill it with all kinds of northern woods stuff, and plop it right at the edge of the Teal river. Great views, lots of room inside for a big family. Saying that, make sure you leave it exactly as you found it. You will be charged cleaning fees, for propane use, pontoon gas, cleaning the grill and God knows what else. They should not be renting their personal home to others. If you don't mind spending your last morning their cleaning the house, as a CLEANING SERVICE would, give it go."

  • Perfect lakehome getaway

"We stayed at this home for a week mid August. The house was great- with three bedrooms, two baths there was plenty of room. The finished basement was perfect for extra space as well. Plenty of extra linens, every bedroom had a fan, and there was a nice little basket in the upstairs bathroom with toiletries for 'just in case'. Huge deck with nice grill and picnic table. Outside was just as nice- comfy pontoon for all to fish or just relax. Everyone loved the canoe and the kayak, took turns taking them out. The slope of the yard is steep, but nicely wooded lot. The gift basket left for us contained everything we needed to make s'mores at the firepit. We would definitely go back."

  • Totally relaxing

"Great experience with this rental. Plenty for the kids to do. Even though it was cool a few days, they swam for hours. If the swimming got old they jumped in the peddle boat, and when that ran it's course, there was the kayak. For the adults, the fire pit is great. The area is quiet. Only think I heard all week was the loons and Canada Goose calling at day light, and again in the evening. The fishing was fun for the whole crew. The weather was changing constantly for the first three days, but we managed to have a fish fry with our family and friends. Plus bring a few bags home. Nothing huge, but respectable fish. Oddly, not a crappie, which is what Poskin is known for, in the bunch. Chuck and Susie are our type of people. Friendly, available if you need them."

  • Very pleased

"We stayed in this property July 2012, and were more than pleased. There is a large living area and large connected enclosed sunroom that allowed 4 adults, a one year old, and a nine year old more than enough room when we wanted to be in airconditioning. The deck is spacious and there is generous outside seating. The inside furniture was comfortable and well situated. The yard has a lot of shade which was nice for outdoor games and activities. Also, they have a closet incredibly well stocked with family games. You get the feeling this is a family cabin that has a loving history. The lighting is fine for visiting, gaming and tv, but I would say bring book lights for night-time reading. Overall, we were very happy"
