"Such a beautiful setting and home for our Sisters Weekend. The pool was so relaxing, the beds were amazingly comfortable and the home warm and cozy. The owners were great to deal with and happy to assist with any needs. We definitely recommend this property!!"

"My husband, sister and her husband along with my parents wanted to find a place close to were my Dad grew up in Timberland to spend a week together. What a treat this place is, it is a hidden jem. Wonderful clean cabin and the screen porch is great. Beutiful lake for fishing. Owner and caretaker could not have been nicer. We will come back again. it is private and spacious with all the things you would want in a cabin. Satalite TV, fishing boat, nice beds just bring clothes and food and you are all set. Thank you Tom and Laura we had a wonderful time. And the ability for my parents to bring their dog was great.
Laurie and family"

"I can't say enough about Steve and Anna the owners. They couldn't have been more hospitable. Anything I asked for or about Steve was always quick with a same day reply. We had 6 adults and the bedrooms and bathrooms were great - nice sized and good sleeping beds ! But duct taping a screen in the one bedroom and on one of the sliding glass doors certainly was a tad tacky and then made them difficult to have open. Thank goodness for no mosquitos. The envelope for tipping the cleaning lady was a tad tacky as well as my daughter-in-law noticed cobwebs on the walls in rooms and the mouse trap on the counter of the kitchen sink was tasteless to say the least. We would have appreciated on the TV scheduling have the stations marked that could be received and would have liked numbers available locally where we could call if something went wrong. Being there was no WiFi - my daughter's laptop was useless - which in 2013 the WiFi was available. And a more comfortable couch in the living room would have been excellent. In our eyes, no comfortable furniture except for the beds. I hate writing bad things because I really enjoyed how great the owners were about working with us, but if they could just fix the screens and maybe the lady who cleans could use a leaf blower before each new family comes to blow away the needles on the deck and deck furniture before arrival - it would have been 5 stars!"

"Larson's on the Lake was just what my wife and I needed for a two week vacation. Everything you need or want is provided in the cottage and you also have a boat and two canoes should you want to to see the entire lake. The cottage is clean and very roomy and the only thing you need is your personal items. The cottage is within walking distance to town that has plenty of tourist stores, places to eat, famous candy store and a must is a visit to Norske's Nork any kind of pie you want. Bayfield, WI, and Duluth, MN are within an easy drive for the day and I recommend a sailboat trip on Lake Superior. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Larson's on the Lake to those seeking a place to stay."
