"This cabin was just what I needed! I visit Hayward every year for a friends reunion. We always stay at a resort which is not very nice, but has great views. Well, this year my cabin was overbooked and the resort owner did nothing to accommodate me. I called Ken regarding this cabin and he was so gracious and responsive. The cabin is less expensive than what I would've paid, AND much cleaner and more attractive. The cabin is small, but has everything you need. The bathroom has all new fixtures and floor which makes it feel eapecially clean. The interior is all done in knotty pine and there is a screened in front porch. There is a partial view of the lake through the trees which is still very nice. A short walk down the hill and you're on the lake and large pier with swimming ladders. Ken saved me by meeting me immediately and making my check in so easy. I would've been homeless!"

"We stayed in the Rest A While cabin this Aug. Close to downtown and many other activities. The cabin was very clean and well maintained! Its on a small lake with doc for you boat, or for swimming and skiing, but there are MANY larger lakes around within 30 min; we had a great time, highly recommend this place!!!"

"Loved the steam coming off the water in the early October morning…with the eagles flying over head. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you needed to make a gourmet meal ….could have used some wine glasses but had everything else! Loved the beautiful wood paneling, the dining room table with drawers from an orphanage, and the touches of nature on the door handles. Great deck overlooking the water and fantastic piece of property....very private. Nice dry wood found in garage for the fire pit with chairs to look up at the stars....hot tub overlooking lake was awesome !! Bike riding to Danbury on The Gandy Dancer Trail located nearby made for a fun activity."
