"We really enjoyed 10 days of north woods fall season in a comfortable, well equipped cabin complete with beautiful lake. We had a fire every evening and the full moon made the lake even more beautiful. Incredible north woods/lake country adventure.
Listing description and pictures are accurate. The owner was very helpful with information/directions and makes himself available via cell phone for any questions or problems."

"We loved the Loghome on a semi-private island. We had 13 people and we fit in the 5 bedroom home just fine. There is a large master bedroom with bath upstairs with a small loft space outside it. Two nice size bedrooms on the main floor w bath and two large bedrooms in the finished basement w bath. Also plenty of room in the living room and the basement to set up a air mattress etc.. There is a lot to do at the lake home, there is swimming, boating, canoeing, hiking, volleyball / badmintton court, ping pong table and a closet full of board games. The home has a great deck and huge screened in porch, you feel like you are outside without the bugs. There is a large firepit with all the wood you could want to burn, right off the deck. The lake is a short walk down a path and is very shallow and clean, great swimming. The swimming beach is fine sand with zero entry, good for little ones, and located across from the beach, about 200 yards is a sand bar. We had a great time swimming out to the sandbar and hanging out for the day with little kids and everyone, about 3' deep with smooth sand bottom. Things to know about the cabin - the cabin is NOT close to a real grocery / liquor store, so plan on stopping before you get there or bring the food/booze with you - Sponner is about a 25minute drive away with a real grocery. Bilik's Amusement Center was a fun afternoon of go-karting and minigolf, near Spooner. I can't recommend the place more, really great house and it is isolated enough to feel as you are alone in the woods. If you are looking for a place to just hang out and watch the world go by this is the relaxing retreat for you. We loved it and will be back someday."

"We had a delightful stay in this very comfortable Madeline Island Cottage. Interior is cozy but dated. Clean but a little musty smelling. It was perfectly located about 1/2 from town, beach, marina. Well appointed. All essentials were provided for a great stay. We especially enjoyed the very private and sunny screened porch."

"This cabin was clean, inviting and had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were super comfortable and the setting enhanced my stay on the island. It was very close the town park and beach and not far from downtown. If you are looking for a quiet, calm, relaxing retreat home, this is it!"
