"A wonderful get-a -way. Our son and 3 teens from Ohio wanted a place they could fish and enjoy nature. We acquired all of that at your beautiful lake cabin. The grassy level grounds are perfect for all ages. Enjoyed watching the Loons, Eagles "fishing"',Herons on the docks. The fire pit was a hit for evening treats. The cabin is nicely laid out, roomy, and uniquely decorated and very comfortable.
We caught a lot of fish and our 15 yr. old granddaughter learned to fillet fish and helped grandpa clean(only the bigger ones). The little fish were returned to the lake to grow up. The beautiful pontoon was a plus. Too busy fishing to have time to use the game room in the garage. We recently learned how Bone Lake got it's name. If true, a little history between two Indian tribes. Hope we can find a time slot in our schedules to return next year. Bea & Bob from Eau Claire & Dave, Scott, Kaelin,& Ryan, from Ohio."

"My children and I vacation at this house whenever possible. It is an inviting, warm house on a beautiful lake. Far enough away to truly relax and be with each other. Close enough to Duluth, Hayward and other areas of interest for fun day trips. The kitchen, living areas and amenities are first rate. It’s called a cabin and is nicer than many residences. This is a place to create many happy memories including climbing trees, bonfires, s’mores for breakfast, swimming in the lake, water fights and water balloon tosses, playing games, tie dying and watching movies all day when it rains.
My children are world travelers and have been places such as Versaille, Berlin, Mexico, London. The memories they talk about whenever we get together? The critter in the canoe, the fireworks over the lake, kayaking around the shore, catching frogs and pushing mom off the pier. Their favorite place to be? Up North at John and Judy’s cabin relaxing, having fun and making new memories!"

"What a lovely time we had. The drive down the winding road was charming. The walk from the car to front door a breeze. Entryway right into the center kitchen w/ Br off to sides very efficient. We used the sun porch every morning drinking our hot coffee & the fire pit at night for a fire & stars. The sunsets were glorious- but the proximity to the lake could not be beat! We enjoyed the fishing boat z& got a kick out of the kayak. We caught a northern, walleye & bass- but we threw them back in to grow a bit for our return next year. The town grocery store is fun; the bait shop helpful; the bar burger place ( forget the name), Wendy's ( local diner), Flapjacks & Gritzkes (sp?) for Fri walleye fish fry amazing. BBQ grill allowed us to grill burgers etc. day trip to Hayward- next time will try day trip perhaps to Apostle Islands. Such a restful week back to nature - don't wait---do it! And our goldens LOVED IT- they never got enough of the swimming. Hate to say how great it was...want my pick of summer weeks for 2015. Thank you KD!"

"We loved the home, the location, the views and the fire pit... we had a great time and the home is decorated so nice, we really felt comfortable. Our favorite thing to do was relax at the fire pit. I would recommend this home to anyone."
