"My siblings and I really enjoyed our stay during the peak Autumn color. The house is like new and had plenty of room for our group of six adults. We were only a short drive to all the best places. The Angry Minnow served up yummy pretzels and a nice selection of craft beers. It was beautiful weather for our hike on the Hatchery Park trails. Our brother brought his bike and headed down the CAMBA mountain bike trails and came back with some great pictures. The log home couldn't have been nicer and we all hope we can come back again for another stay."

"The place was sooo much more then what I expected. I have not stayed in a rented house before but this made our trip, I did not realize how comfortable I would be.
I caught ton's of perch, seen lots of wild life including a very large snapping turtle that appeared from under the water deck, loved the paddle boat. The trip started out by finding a 5 leaf clover, wildlife abundance (from the nightly deer, to hundreds of frogs and even a bear (not on the property but on the road exiting the property) and an eagle too.
The house was well equipped with marsh mellow sticks, laundry detergent, grilling equipment with coal and lighter fluid. I had brought several fishing poles but once again there was an abundance of poles already there too. A wonderful abundance of firewood for the fireplace (both inside and out). Kitchen had all amenities including our forgotten coffee filters for my morning coffee. Beds were very comfy. The place was close enough to the town for food supplies. We used the paddle boat daily, and we also brought a paddle board that we used daily. Our phone service (verizon) worked great on the lake (LOL), on the volleyball court, in the upper bedrooms. Other parts of the house we received 1G and mostly texts came through.
Owner was great to work with! I would say I would have liked WI-FI however; I loved the idea that all of my kids were unplugged !!! And we played lots of games that was also supplied. I had a wonderful time being unplugged, enjoying family time, playing games.
The weather fluctuated from very hot days and very rainy days to chilly evenings. I did not use the AC as the breeze off the lake was enough to cool the house down. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting an enjoyable, relaxing place to stay."

"My husband, sister and her husband along with my parents wanted to find a place close to were my Dad grew up in Timberland to spend a week together. What a treat this place is, it is a hidden jem. Wonderful clean cabin and the screen porch is great. Beutiful lake for fishing. Owner and caretaker could not have been nicer. We will come back again. it is private and spacious with all the things you would want in a cabin. Satalite TV, fishing boat, nice beds just bring clothes and food and you are all set. Thank you Tom and Laura we had a wonderful time. And the ability for my parents to bring their dog was great.
Laurie and family"

"Larson's on the Lake was just what my wife and I needed for a two week vacation. Everything you need or want is provided in the cottage and you also have a boat and two canoes should you want to to see the entire lake. The cottage is clean and very roomy and the only thing you need is your personal items. The cottage is within walking distance to town that has plenty of tourist stores, places to eat, famous candy store and a must is a visit to Norske's Nork any kind of pie you want. Bayfield, WI, and Duluth, MN are within an easy drive for the day and I recommend a sailboat trip on Lake Superior. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Larson's on the Lake to those seeking a place to stay."
