  • Perfect for a family Christmas in the Northwoods

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed spending the Christmas holiday together at this very special place. The property is very well-maintained. The Barn is well-appointed and provides great space for family time by the fire. The views of the Lake, as well as the twinkling lights of Duluth across the bay, were the perfect back drop to nighttime bonfires. We especially enjoyed exploring the trails and finding the beaver clearing, beaver lodge and dam. The Barn is truly an ideal setting for a large group of friends and family."

  • Peaceful Retreat

"We loved our stay at No Phone!! log cabin. It was very peaceful and we greatly enjoyed the solitude and quiet of this beautiful home. It was very clean and homey. We enjoyed canoeing and fishing on the lake every day. There was such quiet in the evenings--no noise but the loons calling. No Phone!! was exactly as advertised. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and responsive to all questions. Everything you need for a vacation stay is available for you to use. We would definitely recommend No Phone!! to a friend or relative and will certainly return again."

  • God's Special Creation

"While this cabin claims to be one of God's Special Creations, she apparently was too busy creating this fine spot to provide good weather - we had 40's and rain for 3 days. We enjoyed our stay despite the weather - it's all about attitude. The weather gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful inside of this domicile, as well as explore the covered bridges in the nearby national forest, shop in Minocqua and read, read, read. I recommend LOST IN THE WILD from the cabin bookshelf - I read all 225 pages in one day. We found the hosts to be gracious and accommodating, the cabin spotless, the view calming, and the road to the cabin loaded with turkeys! We would stay here again."
