"My wife and I and our three dogs stayed here the last week of July 2014. We loved the cabin, and the very nice screened in porch. Plenty of room, nice grounds and dock. We used the boat a little and caught lots of fish. Northern,Bass, Rock Bass, Perch, and tons of Sunnies. We did just as good fishing right from the dock. We mostly just relaxed and enjoyed the quiet of the pines. Seen lots of birds and the 3 eagles that nest as you look left from the dock. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. Recommend it highly!"

"We loved the Loghome on a semi-private island. We had 13 people and we fit in the 5 bedroom home just fine. There is a large master bedroom with bath upstairs with a small loft space outside it. Two nice size bedrooms on the main floor w bath and two large bedrooms in the finished basement w bath. Also plenty of room in the living room and the basement to set up a air mattress etc.. There is a lot to do at the lake home, there is swimming, boating, canoeing, hiking, volleyball / badmintton court, ping pong table and a closet full of board games. The home has a great deck and huge screened in porch, you feel like you are outside without the bugs. There is a large firepit with all the wood you could want to burn, right off the deck. The lake is a short walk down a path and is very shallow and clean, great swimming. The swimming beach is fine sand with zero entry, good for little ones, and located across from the beach, about 200 yards is a sand bar. We had a great time swimming out to the sandbar and hanging out for the day with little kids and everyone, about 3' deep with smooth sand bottom. Things to know about the cabin - the cabin is NOT close to a real grocery / liquor store, so plan on stopping before you get there or bring the food/booze with you - Sponner is about a 25minute drive away with a real grocery. Bilik's Amusement Center was a fun afternoon of go-karting and minigolf, near Spooner. I can't recommend the place more, really great house and it is isolated enough to feel as you are alone in the woods. If you are looking for a place to just hang out and watch the world go by this is the relaxing retreat for you. We loved it and will be back someday."

"This cabin was perfect for our weekend away as a group of friends. We had plenty of space to socialize and sleep. The rooms are clean and inviting and the kitchen was well suited for our cooking needs. The location was far enough away from neighbors to enjoy the nature. The lake also provided a great landscape and entertainment for the whole group."

"This property is well kept and very clean. All the comforts of a beautiful home on a north woods lake. Pictures and description are accurate, lots of room, everything works, no surprises. Solid modern dock with poly covering made boating easy. Kathy answers any questions quickly including her favorite dining spot that is now on the top of our list.
Wildlife is abundant around the lake. Numerous loons, eagles, osprey and a beaver that wandered past one morning. Watching and hearing the loons calling added to the experience. Fishing was good with a variety to catch.
Our week passed so quickly a return trip may be required."
