  • Spider Lake Cabin

"Really nice location! Beautiful tree lined county road and driveway back to cabin. Property is surrounded by dense forestation. Gorgeous golden birch and ash in fall. We were lucky enough to catch peak color and sunny 73 degree days our week here. The fire pit area is great, and two decks to relax on..huge decks! The paddleboat provided with cabin and the canoe, were fun for navigating the small lake. Bring your kayaks! The only disappointment for me was the inability to navigate between the chain of lakes. Great walleye fishing on Long Lake only minutes away. You'll catch small northern, bass and crappie on this part of Spider, not great fishing, but not terrible, either. Cabin inside is VERY homey and comfortable...lots of fun little decorating touches inside. Well stocked kitchen! Overall, the cabin nicer than the pictures. We REALLY did not want to leave, and our stay here has us seriously considering a move to these parts in our retirement."

  • Idyllic!

"In celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents, my brother and I (and our spouses) reserved three days at this beautiful cabin on the edge of English Lake. The photos looked so amazing, yet they truly don't do it justice! We enjoyed the hiking (especially at nearby Copper Falls State Park), the fishing, canoeing, and just relaxing on the deck chatting, reading, and basking in the sun. This cabin is very comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed (my dad really admired the excellent workmanship of the cabin construction). Rich, the caretaker, was very helpful, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. Gregg, the owner, was also really friendly and easy to work with. Our visit was perfect-- the entire family had a great time. I highly recommend this cabin!"

  • Awesome Cottage

"We stayed for 2 nights but would've loved to stay longer! The cottage was awesome! It came with towels, sheets, dishes and so much more items to use that we didnt have to pack that was a huge plus! It is very roomy and pleasant with a nice deck to relax on. Best of all was the beach was only 1 1/2 blocks away! I would recommend this cottage to anyone!"

  • A week in the Northwoods

"Grandma Dorothy's lakehouse was as described by the owner. It is spacious and comfortable and provides a great base to enjoy the waters of Echo Lake or the surrounding area. We made several day trips to a variety of interesting spots around Northern Wi and Upper Mi while we were here. Even during the height of Vacation season the lake was relatively quiet with only a few pontoon boats and fisherman on the lake at any time. Easy to get to town for restaurants and supplies. A great place to get away and enjoy a vacation like the good ol ' days. We would recommend this rental to others interested in lakefront vacationing."
