"This place was GREAT!!! As advertised, and lots of little extras... The location was wonderful and we loved having the bikes to ride to the beach. The place was very clean and easy check-in and check-out. Nice being able to sit outside at night too!!! Plenty of room for family; just wished we had more time to stay! Thank you Shelia!"

"We were amazed how tastefully everything was decorated and how well stocked they were in the kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable and we got a good nights sleep every night. The lot is very private. On the water we saw beaver, heron, and eagle. We walked to the dam to look at the falls and found the otter playing in the rapids and turtles laying eggs by the side of the road. We rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon on clam lake just out of Siren and stopped at a cool place to shop that had absolutely everything. It was a trip to remember and we hope to rent there again. Thank you Larry for sharing your beautiful place."

"This cabin was a saving grace for us! We had a family reunion, with the rest of the family staying at Oak shores & Pat's Landing. Those were all booked by the time we started to plan. This cabin was the only one we found available in the area, and I am so glad we found it! Very reasonably priced and close to all of the other places. The rest of the family was quite impressed with our find & the price of it! This cabin is a 5 minute walk to Pat's Landing. It is small, but has everything you'd need. 2 queen beds and also a pullout sleeper sofa. Stocked with enough pots, pans, silverware, and spices to cook with. The lake & view from the cabin are beautiful. Fire pit out back and own private dock too. We're already booked for next year!"

"We've been going up to the north woods for about 15 years and found this place around 6 years ago. We found a new home away from the fast paced life in the city. Christine and Joe are like our extended family and enough good things cannot be said about them. You are greeted upon arrival with the warmest welcome and it seems like they just can't do enough to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and the best get-a-way from the routine of life. The lake home has everything that you need with a full kitchen, sun room facing the lake, large living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, fireplace for chilly fall nights, fish cleaning counter and freezer for fish waste and much more. You can catch nice fish right off the dock or go out on the 1900 acre lake and catch a wide variety of fish. Joe has showed me how to fillet fish the easy and efficient way, so it is almost as much fun to clean them as it is catching and eating them :) If the fish aren't biting right away or if Joe knows what jig or bait to use to catch them, he is more then willing to share his advice and tips. There are many places to go to eat close by if you don't want to cook on the BBQ or in the kitchen. We have met friends for life in Joe & Christine and highly recommend renting this place and firmly believe that once you stay here one time that you will anxiously wait for your return visit every year..."
