  • Relaxing

"We wanted a very relaxing vacation. The cabin was wonderful. My husband fished and I just chilled out. We would definately recommend it to anyone."

  • Old time charm

"Our family of four (two teenagers) spent a fall weekend at this cabin, and loved every minute of it. The cabin is an original, with such charm--but all modern conveniences too. The owner, Jim is very responsive and keeps the place in tip top shape. Kitchen is well stocked (even had a crock pot) and a wood burning stove keeps the place cozy. We fished and visited places nearby, including the Crex Meadows sanctuary. Oh, and a fox visited daily, just as promised!"

  • family get away

"Rented this cabin for a family getaway to celebrate our Mom's 75th birthday. Lots of room for everyone with large gathering spaces and separate spaces to get away from it all. The view of the lake was fantastic. Deer in the front yard every morning."

"The breath taking views matched this breath taking north woods home!!! This amazing place was built in 2005 but looked as if construction was just completed last week! Immaculate condition with beautiful attention to detail! Our week on the Minong flowage provided a great canoe experience with islands to explore and wildlife to enjoy. We saw many bald eagles, a porcupine, deer, waterfowl and even an otter poked his head out of the water to say hello! My husband caught fish each and every day with especially good luck by the dam. Large mouth bass, walleye, bluegill, northern and crappie! Our weather within 7 days ranged from 80 degrees to snow! We turned the central air off and the fireplace kept the whole home warm and cozy! We definitely enjoyed the Packer / Viking game on the ginormous big screen TV downstairs! (Go Pack Go!) Highly recommend this property!"
