  • Family vacation

"This is our 3rd year back to this house. We love it! It's always clean and big enough to accommodate our family. The kitchen has lots of extras incase we forget something. Just bring some mosquito repellent! It is Wisconsin and they are bad this year. The house is on a beautiful part of the lake and is a short drive to good bars!"

  • Fantastic Home

"Our group of friends really enjoyed this home. We spent a lot of our time taking advantage of the many amenities this place has to offer: Basement games (ping pong and pool), kitchen, grill, fireplace, picnic table outside, etc. All of the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, especially the King loft bedroom. It is a convenient couple of miles from Minong - where we could stop in to grab some extra food supplies whenever needed. We also played at a local golf course. Everything was easy to navigate to. We hope our next trip will involve some warmer weather to take advantage of the lake a little more. We will likely be back."

  • Homey and easy

"My wife and I stayed here for a four day XC ski vacation and we were completely satisfied. The property is just as advertised .... clean, livable, and really quite spacious for the two of us. Washer/Dryer, Wi-Fi, and full kitchen were a huge convenience. It is just a stone's throw from Hayward but feels very private with a nice view of the lake and river. A huge shout out to the owner for accommodating us with very short notice ... basically a week. We decided to head north for snow the weekend prior and she hustled to get us the key and the communication was great. I'd recommend this property and owner to anyone."

  • Private, quiet, wooded, on a lake log cabin

"We enjoyed our vacation here as dogs were allowed. We all had fun boating. It was too cool for swimming but there is a nice beach. The descriptions and the photos in the listing are accurate. The property was clean, and the owners easy to contact. We did find the slope of the hill going to the lake somewhat difficult if you have any problems walking. We would definitely recommend it as long as you can be without television! We love nature and being outside but did miss having television for news and sports at night."
