  • Everything was perfect!

"My husband & I really enjoyed our week stay at cabin! It was so relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. Their description of the property was exactly as described. The pictures and previous reviews really helped us to decide that this was the place we wanted to stay at. It is immaculate and very well cared for. Just sitting by the river, reading and relaxing was such a treat. Watching all the hummingbirds was fun! The fishing was good; we caught many small mouth bass. Really enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. Met their nice neighbor and had a few beers with them. If you visit, make sure to check out the eagles nest which is about half way between the cabin and Flaters. It's across the river from where the Old Bogies Bar sign is on the road. It was fun to go up to Old Bogies Bar & Flaters for a beer, everyone was very nice. At the end of the week, I told Paul that there was only one problem, we don't want to leave! Thank you Paul & Troy so much, we had a wonderful time. -David & Amy"

  • Totally relaxing

"Great experience with this rental. Plenty for the kids to do. Even though it was cool a few days, they swam for hours. If the swimming got old they jumped in the peddle boat, and when that ran it's course, there was the kayak. For the adults, the fire pit is great. The area is quiet. Only think I heard all week was the loons and Canada Goose calling at day light, and again in the evening. The fishing was fun for the whole crew. The weather was changing constantly for the first three days, but we managed to have a fish fry with our family and friends. Plus bring a few bags home. Nothing huge, but respectable fish. Oddly, not a crappie, which is what Poskin is known for, in the bunch. Chuck and Susie are our type of people. Friendly, available if you need them."

  • Amazing view! Fantastic getaway!

"This was a great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. No cell phone service. No TV, but no need for one. We sat in the front room or on the pier and just enjoyed our natural surroundings the entire time. The loons were calling, the bullfrogs were singing, and there were never more than 2 boats on the lake. So peaceful."
