  • Amazing and Beautiful Location!!!! Perfect Girl's Weekend Getaway!

"This cabin was more than we could have asked for! We went up for a girls weekend and were thrilled with what the cabin offered. It was full stocked, clean and stunningly beautiful. We had great weather and got to enjoy sitting outside for most of the day and the place had great sleeping accommodations. Kim was very easy to work with and I would strongly recommend that people look into this location. It's a perfect sized cabin for groups that could vary from as small as 4 people to the 12 it is capable of sleeping. Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience and I sincerely want to come back every single year!!"

  • The Best R&R

"I have been renting this lovely island home in the woods for 36 years and find it the best rest and relaxation spot for me. It is THE coziest place on a cool, rainy day (doesn't it always rain when you-re on vacation, at least one of the days) with a fireplace, a large supply of firewood, and windows all around the large room that doubles as living and dining. Madeline has loads of attractions for those who want to be active and entertained, but I go there for peace and quiet and it is perfect for me. I have just returned and read 3 books, slept until mid-morning each day, cooked all my own meals, walked every day, and feel totally refreshed and relaxed! Come, it's addictive!"

  • I wanna go back!

"What a lovely time we had. The drive down the winding road was charming. The walk from the car to front door a breeze. Entryway right into the center kitchen w/ Br off to sides very efficient. We used the sun porch every morning drinking our hot coffee & the fire pit at night for a fire & stars. The sunsets were glorious- but the proximity to the lake could not be beat! We enjoyed the fishing boat z& got a kick out of the kayak. We caught a northern, walleye & bass- but we threw them back in to grow a bit for our return next year. The town grocery store is fun; the bait shop helpful; the bar burger place ( forget the name), Wendy's ( local diner), Flapjacks & Gritzkes (sp?) for Fri walleye fish fry amazing. BBQ grill allowed us to grill burgers etc. day trip to Hayward- next time will try day trip perhaps to Apostle Islands. Such a restful week back to nature - don't wait---do it! And our goldens LOVED IT- they never got enough of the swimming. Hate to say how great it was...want my pick of summer weeks for 2015. Thank you KD!"
