"My wife and I stayed for 4 nights on a snowmobile trip. The home was perfectly clean with all the amenities that we could wish for. Only about a mile or so from town and right across the street from the snowmobile trail. We had a great time. The whole process of booking, payment and checking out was smooth as silk. Great communication. Even when we were running late they gave us a call to see if we were OK. In my mind that is priceless. We will definitely be back at least once if not more next winter to enjoy the great trails and great property. Thanks again. Bob and Keri."Guest: bobob1916 Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 17, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful week, enjoying family time together in this wonderful retreat. Celebrated birthdays for a 2 yr old Grandson and 34 Yr old Daughter. The property is immaculate and includes amenities to be enjoyed by all ages. Peaceful Lake in a National Forest was more beautiful than we expected, even had multiple visits from a pair of young deer outside the master Bedroom! Rob runs a tight ship and it shows on this property. Everything was as advertised. We've already reserved a week for 2015!!"Guest: Bill E. "We stayed in your island home mid September 2014. The fall colors were beautiful, peak I'm pretty sure. Your home is very private, very clean inside and suitable for large groups. We had 5 adults and 2 day visitors and we were more than comfortable. We enjoyed the campfire and of course the fishing. I now have a big fish story to tell and the fish that got away gets bigger and bigger everytime I tell my tale. One evening the lake was like glass and we caught one panfish after another right off the dock. Such fun! We did notice that the kitchen could use some more baking dishes, casseroles etc. Also some wine glasses would be nice. The dishwasher didn't work, but we had several dishwashers along that were willing to pitch in. The pontoon was easy to operate and we enjoyed a cruise around the lake, and docking wasn't a problem even though we aren't experts. Overall we had a wonderful time and thank the owners for sharing their home."Guest: Ann C. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 24, 2014View listing
"We spent five nights at this delightful cabin. It has room to sleep a family or group of friends but we chose it for just the two of us and it was terrifically roomy. The cabin is very warmly decorated in an "up north" motif and honestly has more amenities than we had time to use. Everything we needed was there and shopping was close as well. We were able to use the pontoon boat daily and the fishing was wonderful. We were able to drive the boat to the near-by marina for gas and bait (we could have motored to Famous Dave's for dinner too but decided to do that next time). There is a sandy beach with the property, the lake bottom is sandy as well, and the water is beautifully clear. We had a great week and hope we are able to come back again next year!"Guest: Ken Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 9, 2014View listing
